“The prawn and mushroom dish tasted odd. My husband immediately felt nauseous and had to dash to the toilet to be sick. Still has stomach pains three days later. Clearly food poisoning. They didn’t charge him for the meal but it ruined the holiday.”

“We noticed Yan's is now serving lunch. Just had to try a local Cantonese restaurant. Great menu (we did the 2-course lunch special). Lots of dishes to chose from. We chose a vegetarian spring rolls and we ordered up some hot & spicy salty sauce. It was yum! Plenty for a "starter". For my main I ordered a black bean dish with char siu for a meat selection. The pork was tender and tasty. My wife ordered a noodle dish with the char siu topping. Everyone had fine things to say about the dishes. There was plenty of food (my wife took half her dish home) and we topped it off with a scoop of ice cream. We had a nice conversation with Yan and came away promising to come back!”
