About Frankies Cafe
Frankies Cafe is a cafe on Broadway in Accrington town centre, next to British Heart Foundation. The kitchen is open plan, so customers can watch their food being prepared. Breakfasts are served all day alongside a daily menu, and the English breakfast comes with sausages and toast. Homemade meals made with fresh vegetables are served from late morning, and cakes are made in house. The main food service ends in the early afternoon, and the cafe stays open a little longer for desserts and drinks. Tea and coffee are on the menu throughout. Seating is walk-in only, and dogs are welcome. Daily menu updates are posted on the cafe's Facebook page.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the friendly, welcoming staff, with several describing regulars who come in most mornings or a few times a week. Close behind is the food, with the English breakfast and proper sausages singled out, along with homemade meals and cakes. One reviewer calls it the best brew in Accrington. The open kitchen, where food preparation can be seen, is mentioned twice, and reviewers also describe the premises as clean. Others note a children's menu, a wheelchair-friendly layout with an accessible toilet, and staff who adapt to a client's needs. The main complaint is recurring: two reviewers say toast arrived mouldy on the sides partway through a breakfast, and although staff apologised and offered to remake it, both say they were put off and left. A separate reviewer reports a manager shouting at a parent with small children over having no food on the table, and describes a second staff member yelling when they tried to report it. Even so, praise for the breakfasts and the staff's welcome runs through most accounts, and one regular describes being greeted warmly almost every morning before work.

“Called in today with a friend for 2 small breakfast, food arrived and looked good however when the toast arrived I noticed it was mouldy on the sides , I didn't kick up a fuss just returned it and the lady apologised and made us more , however we was both put off by then and left , this could of been a 1 off but just making people aware”

“So I tried this cafe with a friend for a couple of breakfasts. The cafe is nicely presented and the service was quick. The breakfast came out and looked good. Then when we were halfway through the breakfast our toast came out. My friend noticed the toast had mould on it and so returned it. To be fair the staff apologised and said they would make some more toast, but that put me off eating any of it, and I had consumed most of my breakfast by then. We got an apology but it has put me off going back in again.”
