Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the main draw, and the saag parathas lead it: one reviewer describes them as delicately spiced and generously filled, and others come for tea and paratha or an English breakfast. Close behind are the waffles, with the strawberry Nutella and brownie versions singled out, plus donuts and the brownie cookie dough. Chicken paninis and extra crispy chips also earn praise, and one group of seven says their desi breakfast came out fast despite the morning rush. The recurring complaint is understaffing. One reviewer was told breakfast had stopped at 2.25pm despite the menu listing it until 3pm, and was offered a frozen paratha instead of a fresh one. Others mention tables left uncleared, a long wait for loaded fries, and a regular who received a plain doughnut without its usual toppings. The fries arrived with hardened cheese that stuck them together. One reviewer was given a free cup of pink tea by the manager.

“Today we visited cha cha chai in accrington and they provide us best service. Manager is sooo kind hearted and friendly. We order special waffles and donuts , Both are sooo delicious. Manager offer my husband a cup of pink tea as weather was very nice and rainy and he charged no money for it. I think it’s very injustice if we don’t appreciate good things and people around us . these little things help to grow someone’s business so keep it up 👍👍👍 I honestly very impressed by getting such a good customer care. I highly recommend this place. 👍👍👍”

“Came with a group of seven for desi breakfast at Cha Cha Chai Accrington and loved it. Despite the morning rush, our food came out fast and tasted fantastic. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and the whole experience felt smooth. Will be returning very soon.”

“I just went in for a breakfast meal and was told that they're not doing breakfast anymore from a lady sounding stressed from the kitchen but menu states breakfast from 9am til 3pm. So, then I pointed out that it says breakfast til 3pm and its only 2.25pm to which the cashier replied "im sorry we are under staffed" ??? Then I asked to order from the street menu a paratha and seekh and asked him "is it lamb or chicken" to which he replied "I dont know, they come ready like that" and didn't have the common sense to check. He then also said that the paratha will be a frozen one and not fresh! And again I asked why and he said we have stopped the fresh because we are short staffed so we have stopped the breakfast menu and no fresh paratah. I found it very unorganised inside and and alot of stressed staff! A very sour experience!”

“I have been a regular customer at Cha Cha Chai Accrington since it opened and have visited many times for breakfast and desserts. Unfortunately, over time I have noticed a decline in the quality of the breakfast service. On several occasions, including my most recent visit, tables were left uncleared for long periods. my table remained uncleaned for around 30 minutes while I waited to place my order and receive my food. I am also disappointed with the customer service from one particular member of staff (a lady who makes the parathas, usually with her hair tied up and no headscarf a bit aged) I do not know her name, but I have consistently found her service unwelcoming compared to other members of the team. Yesterday I ordered a doughnut alongside my breakfast. The doughnut was served plain with only some sauce added, without the usual toppings that have always been included in the past. I have been ordering these doughnuts since the business opened and have never received one prepared this way before. It was very disappointing. Another issue is the inconsistency from that woman during breakfast. Almost every time I order breakfast, I have to ask separately for sauces. Sometimes I am told certain sauces or pickles are no longer available, while on other visits they are provided without any issue. I want to be fair and mention that not all staff provide the same experience. My experience with owner's daughter has always been polite and attentive when I have been served by her. Abdul is also excellent and consistently provides great customer service. There is also a lady who wears a headscarf whose service is usually very good. As a long-term customer, it is disappointing that I no longer feel particularly welcomed when I visit. I genuinely used to enjoy coming here, but lately I have found myself looking at other breakfast places in the Accrington area because the overall experience is no longer what it once was. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as l would like to see improvements and return to enjoying the café as I did in the past.”

“Excellent food and service been reading review bit bored so thought I be a bit nosey. Never head an issue with any staff. Helpful and pleasant food has always been on point every time. Came to eat Just like certain individuals Been coming here with wife for tea and parata aswell as English breakfast. Kids have enjoyed shakes. Some people seriously need to give their head a wobble. The staff are human not machines. Seen them working busy under staffed. Be patient mate He/she probably gets bullied at home or work if he/ she works and take it out on other workers. I’m Any way people keep your heads up. All sorts of people out there. I’ve recommend this place.”
