  “Just had an amazing meal at Cafe Fleuri and it absolutely delivered. The loup de mer was perfectly cooked—light, flaky, and super fresh. The escalope de poulet grenobloise was just as impressive, with that rich, buttery sauce bringing everything together. And don’t skip the sourdough… crispy on the outside, soft inside, and honestly a must-order. Simple, classic dishes done really well—definitely a spot worth coming back to.”

  “What a beautiful hidden gem! It's not the typical French restaurant you find everywhere in NYC with their onion soup and the steak tartare... this one's menu invites you to explore! The charming service is always happy to help and if you're lucky to meet the owner there, you feel like he invited you to his house... A decent but thoughtful decoration and soft French background music complement the picture. Order food to share - especially the spreads - and feel like on a lazy afternoon at a terrace in Provence...”

  “We had a wonderful dining experience at Schilling from the moment we walked in! The space is quaint and beautiful, resembling an Austrian chalet. The service is warm and friendly. We opted for the Restaurant Week menu - what a deal! $45 for 3 courses. We both started with the Schilling salad which was delicious! I could eat it every day. For our entrees, we both opted for the Wiener Schnitzel (pork), which came with one of my favorite things of the evening: this incredible dill cucumber salad! The schnitzel was excellent (although a huge portion!) It also came with lingonberry jam and potato salad! Finally, we both tried the chocolate dessert as well as the apple strudel and while both were great, the strudel truly stole the show! We also tried a glass of dry white Austrian wine which was lovely! Looking forward to coming back to Schilling for lunch or dinner again.”

  “First time trying Austrian cuisine and was happily blown away. The restaurant design is fresh and cozy, drink (daughter of the marsh) was light and refreshing and the food was exceptional (warm honey nut squash, schnitzel and spatzle). Perfect portions that are easy to share!”

  “As an Austrian this food is very good. Definitely a spot to go to! I was very surprised by the schnitzel, I do wish it was fried a bit longer as it seemed a bit uncooked. Everything else was delicious!!! The also have this drink that’s only available in Austria, so that was so great to have that. After so many years. Going back for sure!!”

  “Schilling serves amazing Austrian food. First time having Austrian food and I loved it! I ordered something like their fried chicken with a salad (Weiner Schnitzel) and brussel sprouts, absolutely mouth watering!! They had an Austrian beer called a Stiegl which goes down well with the food. I do however have to critique the server as she was gone for an extended period of time for the drinks, food took extremely long to come out, and when needed an item it was difficult to get her attention. I will say however I do not mind that the food took long to come out cause everything did taste absolutely fresh!!”
