About ZAZA
ZAZA is an American restaurant and contemporary diner on Greenwich Street in New York, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dessert alongside a broad menu of familiar nibbles. Much of its character comes from the range of formats it covers in one place, moving from morning pancakes and omelettes into burgers and casual lunch fare, then closing out with dessert. The ZaZa Breakfast Wrap anchors the morning lineup, while the Omelette with Mushroom and Sausage Omelette offers a heartier sit-down option, and the Foamy Cappuccino with Cinnamon Topping rounds out the breakfast side of the menu. Mains span a wide price range, and the total menu includes 262 items, giving diners flexibility from a quick bite to a full meal. Reservations are advised during peak brunch hours.

Customer Review Summary
ZAZA draws consistent praise for its generous breakfast and brunch portions, with diners repeatedly highlighting the French Toast, eggs Benedict (including a salmon version and a cheesesteak eggs Benedict), and the ZaZa Breakfast Wrap as standouts. Reviewers describe the food as delicious and the servings as ample, often large enough to keep them full for most of the day. The atmosphere is frequently called clean, bright, and welcoming, with comfortable booths and a spacious feel, while the service earns repeated compliments for being attentive, friendly, and anticipatory. A few reviewers, however, report uneven execution: one found a benedict served with an almost well-done egg and crab cakes that were mostly pepper, another received cold eggs and slow water refills, and a third discovered a piece of hair in the pancakes with no follow-up from the server. Several suggest arriving early on weekends to avoid a wait.

“I ordered pancakes and sausage and a sprite. I received one serving of syrup for 3 pancakes. The server never came back for me to request additional syrup. As I reached the bottom of my pancakes, there was a huge piece of hair on the …”

“We had a wonderful dining experience. We started with eggs Benedict with salmon — absolutely delicious — followed by perfectly cooked fried salmon with creamy mashed potatoes. We also tried the omelets, along with coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos. Everything was exceptionally tasty. The portions are very generous — truly filling, to the point that we felt satisfied for almost the entire day. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very clean, the water is crystal clear, and the service is impeccable. Plates are cleared promptly, even while you are still dining, without being intrusive. Overall, everything is done at a very high level. We will definitely be happy to return.”

“Really impressed, and I'm a breakfast diva. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table for 4 in the middle of brunch rush. The positive energy the staff brings is exactly what we needed to start a packed day of walking and sightseeing. Boozy coffee and hot chocolate for Mom and Dad, Milkshakes for the kids. Food portions were the size of a jet ski. I didn't expect there to be so many good choices for breakfast/brunch in this neighborhood, and was really pleasantly surprised. And only about 25% more than bringing the family to our townie diner at home.”

“Had the cheesesteak eggs benedict which was on their seasonal menu, very tasty and the portions were excellent. Make sure you get here early on the weekends to beat the line, was about a 10-15 minute wait at around 10:30 on a Sunday morning. Would revisit to try more things off the menu”
