  “3.5/5⭐️ The service at bubby’s was excellent, the inside was cozy and warm, however the food was just okay. I tried the fluffy pancake trio, the eggs and the green juice. Everything was overpriced especially the pancakes (26$!).”

  “Great brunch spot and the food is always comforting! It’s usually a less wait if you’re a larger party. We’ve been multiple times now and we’ve waited no more than 5 minutes when we have larger parties of 6 or more. Wait times can get longer if you’re a group of 2 or 3. Their fried chicken is some of the best I’ve had. The pancakes are always fluffy and very filling. I prefer the sourdough pancakes only because they’re thinner and not as heavy. They have great fresh oj as well. The vibe inside is always fun and good energy in the mornings.”

  “A bit overrated in my opinion. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and you'll definitely leave full, but there's nothing particularly memorable or unique about it. One thing that stood out was how quickly the food arrived. It was almost suspiciously fast, which makes me think much of it is prepared in advance due to the restaurant's popularity. That said, everything came out hot and tasted fresh, so I can't really complain about that. The biggest downside was the service. The staff came across as cold and somewhat condescending, and it often felt like we were bothering them whenever we needed something. To make matters worse, getting the check took an unreasonably long time. We waited, tried to get someone's attention multiple times, and were simply ignored. Eventually, we got up and walked to the register to pay because we just wanted to leave. Overall, the food is good, but the service made the experience much less enjoyable, and I don't think it lives up to the hype.”

  “Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try Bubby’s for brunch. It exceeded my expectations, food and service were both amazing. Our server was really attentive and personable and made great suggestions. The summer omelet, soup and grilled cheese, and banana walnut pancakes were all delicious. Will definitely eat here again.”

  “We had heard a lot about Bubby’s pancakes, so after trying the ones at Golden Diner, we had to check them out. They’re good, but nowhere near the best in the city. We ordered the pancake flight, which includes three James Beard pancakes: caramelized banana with toasted walnuts, blueberry, and Nutella with macerated strawberries and whipped cream. The pancakes themselves are quite good—fluffy and light. However, they didn’t taste as freshly made to order as the ones at Golden Diner, possibly because this is a much larger restaurant. But then again, they weren’t on the same level as Golden Diner in terms of fluffiness. As for the toppings, they were good but not very generous. The whipped cream was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The pancakes didn’t really absorb the toppings. If you can get a reservation, it’s worth trying, but personally, I would still prefer to wait in line for Golden Diner. Overall, we were slightly disappointed with the experience.”

  “Food and drinks were amazing!! Atmosphere was full of energy. You can definitely tell its a local favorite and favored by tourist. 25 to 30 dollars per entree. If your a family on a tight budget I do not recommend. If thats not a concern I definitely recommend it.”
