  “Cheese burger in a nutshell underwhelming. I thought small portions, what’s the deal not giving a decent amount of fries 🤷‍♀️ the cheeseburger with fries was $18.95 I would of rather paid a few extra dollars and got a decent sized burger and portion of fries to make it good value for money. On the plus side the service was great and Janine poured me loads of extra Diet Coke. The restaurant itself is really nice.”

  “Our server Janee started things of right. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me with selecting gluten free options. The lobster deviled eggs were delicious. Our food was hot and delicious.”

  “Everything was on time and delicious! Comfortable sidewalk seating with a beautiful view of Grant park. The food was just right and the service from Janee was top notch. We had the prime rib, the ribeye and the pork belly. Treat yo'self.”

  “LOVE IT HERE. Oysters, Steak, Loaded Baked Potato-all delicious. I had The Bean (their version of an Espresso Martini) for dessert and it was to die for. FRESH espresso is used. The view was nice and the cool summer breeze was lovely. My waiter JP E was so kind and attentive!! Brought me a new ice tea without me asking and remembered I said I was having The Bean as dessert and brought it when I was finished eating. Fantastic place to go before a show at The James Nederlander Theatre or anytime!!”

  “Food was spectacular and made for an unforgettable dining experience. Even though we arrived closer to closing time, the service never felt rushed. The staff remained attentive, friendly, and committed to providing excellent hospitality throughout the evening. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing dinner. Service was attentive without being overbearing, striking just the right balance and making us feel genuinely welcomed. Remington's delivered a truly special evening with outstanding food, excellent service, and a wonderful ambiance. We will definitely be back.”

  “We arrived between lunch and dinner so it was practically empty. Excellent service, super attentive, friendly, and efficient. Nice cocktails. Great wine options. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order and delicious. Prices were very decent for the portion sizes and quality of the dishes. A must in Chicago.”

  “Visiting from another city and so glad we stopped here for a dinner one night. Service was so amazing, food from starters to dessert was incredible, and it was a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. One of the best meals we have had.”

  “While traveling through Chicago, we stumbled upon Remington’s after enjoying Blues Fest and looking for a great meal. We didn’t have reservations, but we’re so glad we stopped in. The atmosphere was inviting, and the menu offered a creative blend of Southern comfort food with Asian-inspired flavors. We enjoyed the crab cakes, braised pork belly, an Old Fashioned, and a beautifully crafted gimlet. For dinner, we had the salmon with asparagus, braised short rib pasta, and an adult-sized cheeseburger for our youngest. His review? “Divine.” 🫣 The fries were a huge hit too. Jnae was an absolute vibe. Even with multiple tables, she made us feel like we were the only guests in the restaurant. Brian, the Assistant General Manager, was also visible and engaged throughout the evening, which always speaks volumes about a restaurant’s leadership and culture. One thoughtful touch that stood out was the staff helping charge our little guy’s tablet. Small gestures like that make a lasting impression. Great food, wonderful service, thoughtful hospitality, and visible leadership. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Chicago.”

  “Remingtons was was a great place for an upscale dinner. We ate here because my nephew and his girlfriend were in town and I wanted to take them somewhere nice. The atmosphere is great, only downside is there was a fly from outside because the restaurant opened their windows. Service was great, waiter was prompt, friendly and attentive. Food was phenomenal. We ordered the corn bread appetizer with Mabel butter which can comfortably feed 4 people and I really recommend it. For dinner we all got steak, my nephews girlfriend and I got the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly medium rare, Juicy, melted in your mouth. My nephew got the stake and fries. He loved it. The price was a bit steep, but we did order prime rib and I felt I got good value for what I paid. Also, the menu has more affordable options that also looked delicious. If your price concessions you can check out the prices on grubhub or door dash before going. Very reasonable for an upscale restaurant. I would definitely come back here to eat!”
