About Lasita Rotisserie & Natural Wine

Lasita Rotisserie & Natural Wine is a relaxed Filipino restaurant and wine bar in Los Angeles, operating within Chinatown's Far East Plaza. Its concept pairs Filipino rotisserie with a natural wine list, and the setting blends casual dining with a wine bar format. The menu centers on approachable mains, with Wine listed among the popular offerings alongside Condensed Milk Ice Cream and Lumpia Sariwa. The restaurant's dual identity as both a Filipino kitchen and a wine bar shapes how meals unfold, giving diners a place to pair rotisserie dishes with bottles from a curated list. Reservations are advised during peak hours, as the space draws steady interest. The location inside Far East Plaza places it within a well-known Chinatown destination.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers consistently celebrate the Filipino rotisserie, with chicken inasal and pork belly lechon singled out as standout dishes for their juicy, aromatic, crispy-skinned quality. The mushroom sisig emerges as a surprise favorite, described as decadent and umami-rich, while garlic fried rice, chicken fat rice, and the buko pandan sago with its sweet-and-salty balance from Maldon salt also draw repeated praise. The natural wine selection earns consistent compliments, with staff recommendations frequently described as elevating the meal. Diners highlight the warm, colorful interior and the welcoming, attentive service, with several noting the staff made solo diners feel comfortable and cared for. A recurring complaint centers on portion size, with multiple reviewers noting the small plates left them wanting more, and one group felt the per-person cake fee was stingy given their high spend and the lack of to-go utensils. Several suggest making a reservation and saving room for dessert, particularly the condensed milk ice cream and champurrado.

What the LA dining scene bring so overrated, I was so pleasantly surprised to have one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The rotisserie is heavenly. The wine recommendations are perfection and the service is a delight. Definitely will be back.

The food was good, but portions too small. We got 2 entrees, 3 appetizers, chips and 2 bottles of wine. The adobo beef and lechon were the best, however it's really cheap to charge a per person cake fee when a birthday party is spending almost $400, and then tell us you don't have any to go forks or spoons. It's cheap behavior and dampens the quality. That is NOT Filipino hospitality.

I’m really happy with Kapé! Like, really happy and impressed with the food and drinks. If you like breakfast sandwiches that have bacon and egg, go for the Tocino Ham Sando. They have a menu that changes every week from the looks of it so definitely ask about their specials and check the online menu. It’s outdoor seating but they’re always adjusting the umbrellas to cover everyone as the sun moves. It’s right in the middle of a plaza that has a lot to explore but the breakfast I had has been my favorite this weekend trip while visiting LA. I adored the sago parfait with pandan and strawberry (it was a little sweet and too thick for my partner who is Filipina) but I really liked the balance of it (sweet, salty, thick and different textures). Salted butter mamon was superb. Salty, sweet, rich and fluffy 10/10. My partner enjoyed her ube espresso latte and I tried the condensed milk jackfruit cold brew: it was light & refreshing. The cold brew was my least favorite out of everything because everything else topped it.

This Filipino (with a twist) restaurant was on my food hit list when I visited LA, and it did not disappoint. Lasita is an experience in itself. Every dish was a treat. The pork belly lechon, autumn pancit canton, and the shroom sisig.. OMG, that shroom sisig!! The unexpected favorite! I kid you not, I’m still thinking about it! I paired that with a glass of white from their natural wine selection, which I cant tell you which one it was exactly. I asked our sweet server to choose one that would complement the food we ordered and she absolutely delivered! The staff actually know what they’re doing and make you feel taken care of without hovering. Lasita doesn’t try to impress. It just is impressive. Easily 5/5✨

I had a great meal here and really loved the thoughtful flavors. The Adobo Marinated Olives were a perfect start—the seasoned garlic was so sweet and addictive. The Beef Brisket Kaldereta was incredibly tender, and the tomato-rich sauce was so good I found myself scraping the plate. I’d love to see some Pandesal on the side to dip in that sauce! Also, don't miss the Vegetable Atchara; that spicy kick from the cauliflower pairs perfectly with a drink. The Buko Pandan Sago was a total win with its sweet-and-salty balance from the Maldon salt. Make sure to scoop deep to get the best flavor. The vibe is spot on too, with a cool mix of Pinoy pop and hip-hop at just the right volume. It’s a bit dim for photos, but perfect for a cozy, relaxed meal. The staff was super friendly and even chatted with me since I was dining alone—they even kindly treated me to my dessert. Such a gem of a place!
