The events put on are great fun and they recently had the wrestling.any families enjoyed a great afternoon cheering the goodies and boo-ing the baddies. “I recently arranged a family gathering at the Park View and despite me leaving it very late to secure a venue, I was pleasantly surprised at the way the staff got things organised in time. I was kept informed and the gathering was exactly as described and planned. I would recommend the Park View to anyone considering a venue for an occasion. The Grazing buffet was more than enough to feed us all and I found the prices very reasonable. Charlie was generous and considerate of our needs and I will definitely be returning. There is also a large outdoor space to enjoy. This worked well for relaxing between spaces. Thank you!”

“Grabbed a drink with a friend and our kids and dogs in the beer garden. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful and the beer garden was a lovely place to sit on a sunny day. Very relaxed atmosphere. The kids liked being able to run off to the park opposite.”

“I had such a lovely visit and felt genuinely looked after from the moment I arrived. Florence and Ellie were both incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful throughout, and they made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal without ever being overbearing. I ordered the Uncle Sam burger, which was absolutely delicious and really generous. Everything tasted fresh, arrived perfectly cooked and was exactly what I was hoping for. The service made the meal even better, and Florence and Ellie are a real credit to the pub. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“We always loved to come to Park View but today it was absolutely not right. My husband received cold burger, I have ordered fries with pulled pork and jalapenos- I didn’t have jalapenos in my order and had massive chunk of fat skin in my fries… from the moment we have received our food no one even came to ask if everything is alright …. We never have experienced that unlucky service in this pub until today ….”
