  “Always order our Chinese from here, we've been using them for years. Food is always tasty and hot, never had any issues with our order. Staff are really friendly and polite. Always look forward to our Chinese from here!”

  “We've eaten takeaways from here for years and they have always been fantastic. But the last time we went a few days ago my favourite wasn't the same my partner's dish didn't have all the ingredients in it like prawns and he said it had no taste , I'm hoping this was just a blip because usually this place is amazing”

  “I come here twice a week, looking forward to it , however the last few times the order has been wrong . The lady on reception is all by her herself and doesn't speak very good English. On a weekend she doesn't cope as the phones constantly ringing , whilst she's taking orders . That's why I think the food isn't correct . She's trying to focus on too many things. Our order again tonight was wrong all 3 dishes . She did ask us to return them , but after coming from coven and having hungry children to feed , there was no way we could travel all that way and back again. She did say our next meal was free , but it's the inconvenience . Not sure what's going on here lately . But previous the lad on reception was fab and never got an order wrong and spoke good English. I think the lady is lovely but she's obviously struggling .”

  “This is our go to chinese and usually it’s spot on but I have to say the past couple times we have been, it’s been appalling. We’ve literally just picked this up and the curry has never looked so disgusting. The salt and pepper chips?? Just regular chips with a few tiny peppers and seasoning… I couldn’t even touch the curry because it just looked gross. The rice was also in one big clump and cold, along with chow mein which was also cold. Really is disappointing when you’re spending over £20 on something you’re looking forward to eating on a Friday evening. I think this is our sign to give somewhere else a try now because we’ve wasted a few weekends now on Jade House”

  “Jade house never fails!! Enjoy their food every time. No matter what I have tried. One of the best Chinese’s around. Always my go too.”

  “Been using this place for years, tried others, but always ended up coming back. Recently had a takeaway under the new management and was the best yet in my opinion. Always tend to have the same dishes, really like the gung po beef. I'm pretty sure the salt and chili wings recipe has changed, very tasty with more spice. Will continue to use this place.”

  “We've been coming to Jade House for a number of years, since they've changed owners I've given it the benefit of the doubt more than once, but our order last night was shocking. The salt and pepper chicken was disgusting. Was nothing but batter. The price of the food has also gone up a lot, they've taken what was a fantastic Chinese to something only someone who was drunk on a night out would be happy with. Won't be wasting anymore money here.”

  “Second time ordering chips here and the first time I just thought it was a bad batch but this is my second time and I’m quite annoyed because the majority had to be binned. The chips are so old and hard as if they’ve been cooked days before and just reheated. Really not pleased because I hardly have a takeaway due to many reasons so when I do it’s a treat. The chicken in black bean sauce was fine and fresh just the chips are horrible!”
