Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what reviewers return to Cafe Amber for, and the breakfast wrap comes up most, described as delicious and reasonably priced. Close behind are the Amber Burger, the breakfast sarnies and a traditional English breakfast, with one diner noting the mega breakfast arrived with eggs and crispy bacon exactly as asked. Several say the breakfast comes out the same every time, and the bread is called fresh and soft. Good coffee gets a mention too. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly, polite staff in a family run cafe, and a few say the kitchen accommodates preferences, such as an egg without the white, and asks about food intolerances. Clean, comfy seating and plenty of parking are also praised. The one complaint is a slow breakfast: a reviewer who arrived to two tables covered in dirty plates and spilt food waited 35 minutes, found at the counter that the order had not been plated, and was given a refund.

“Don’t bother with this place, unless you want to sit at a dirty table and wait over 35 minutes for a breakfast. Only 2 tables free when I arrived, both covered in dirty plates, cups and spilt food. Waited 35 minutes, went to the counter to see what is going on, hadn’t even started to plate mine up, so got a refund.”
