Customer Review Summary

The complaints are specific. One reviewer waited a long time for an order of bacon, egg, tomatoes and hash brown with paid extra mushrooms, and felt the portions were thin: one slice of bacon, one egg and only a few slices of mushroom. Another was refused a full refund after a dispute at the counter and described a dismissive attitude from staff. A vegetarian reviewer objected that sausages are cooked in the same oil as the chips.

“I'm so pleased this cafe is still with us. Dropped my car off at Renault Wolverhampton and headed into town on Metro specifically to have my breakfast here. Over the years my random visits here have never disappointment. Owner very friendly and quality of food is very good at a reasonable price. I had the 13 item set breakfast at £10.25 and a couple mugs of coffee.”

“Order breakfast. Becon. Tomatoes. Egg. Hash brown 2white toast. £4.95.pay £120 extra mushrooms. Latte. All together nearly £9.00. Waiting long time. Not busy at all. What I get 1slice bacon. 1 egg hash brown. 2 table spoon tomato. And exactly 10 slice of mushrooms. Don't like never come back. It's not a breakfast meal”

“You offer a vegetarian menu and you cook the sausages in the same oil as the chips how do you call that vegetarian and do you tell the people”

“My friend went here to order us lunch, I’ve met her there after she has ordered as my lunch break is only 30 minutes. After arriving at the cafe I’ve still had to wait 23 minutes for a 5 item breakfast. After eating most of my sausage, one spoon of beans, one bite of bacon, and one bite of my hash brown I have found a hair underneath the hash brown. I’ve gone to the counter and politely informed a member of staff, I asked for a refund and explained I am not able to wait for fresh food as my lunch break ends in 5 minutes. She had a vile attitude waving her hands around saying she isn’t able to refund me the full price as I have “eaten half the food”. I would have eaten it all as the food is lovely and I visit this cafe frequently, but after this whole ordeal I won’t be returning again, such a shame. Now I’ve got to spend the rest of my work day starving absolutely livid.”
