Customer Review Summary
The Wagyu burger is the item reviewers single out most. Two diners called it juicy and flavorful on a first visit, but both returned to a dry burger with a different taste, and one found the inside undercooked. Both also took away fries that were undercooked and raw in the middle. Wrong orders are the wider complaint: a double Whopper with one patty and no pickles or cheese, medium fries and a medium drink charged as large, missing items, and a drive-thru order that arrived as a random bag of food. Several describe poor service, including a server who grumbled about redeeming an app reward code, delivery orders prioritised over dine-in customers, and Uber Eats orders accepted without the food to fill them. One reviewer credits the refurbishment with a fresher layout, quicker service, hotter burgers and crispier fries. Another received a burger so loosely wrapped that it fell out in the bag and covered everything in sauce.

“Food is okay if you ever get what you ask for. The guy on the drive-thru window seems to barely understand a word of English so you just end up with a random bag of food. Can’t remember the last time they got an order correct.”

“Disgusting place ! Outside there are 33 degrees, inside this place 35 at least… everything is sticky and spilled fluids everywhere, food comes literally like garbage on a disgusting tray and used piece of paper that’s been standing on the bin for God knows how long … service is horrible , asked for a ketchup I was thrown a small bag of ketchup in my face by the Asian lady , AC not working obviously , probably only in winter time … there’s a decent clean with AC working MCdonalds just down the road , 2 minutes walk . I would give this guys 0 stars but there is no option . Would rather eat from the bin than to come here again . There is a stinging smell of sweat because of the air con not working which makes everything worse.”

“Absolutely terrible experience with Burger King Wokingham. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. Basic courtesy appeared to be too much to ask, and the overall attitude from the team made what should have been a simple visit unnecessarily frustrating. What makes the situation even worse is that they are apparently accepting Uber Eats orders when they don’t have the food available to fulfil them. This wastes customers’ time, wastes delivery drivers’ time, and creates needless delays for everyone involved. If you know you cannot complete orders, stop accepting them instead of passing the problem on to customers and drivers. There seems to be a complete lack of professionalism and organisation at this branch. Customer service is poor, communication is poor, and the way both customers and delivery drivers are treated is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding this Burger King and taking your business elsewhere. There are plenty of places that value their customers and respect delivery drivers’ time. This establishment clearly does neither.”

“Visited two weeks ago and had an amazing, juicy Wagyu burger, so we came back tonight expecting the same. Unfortunately, the patty was dry and the taste was completely different. We even brought our little daughter out at night because we were craving it, which made the disappointment worse. When I shared my feedback, there was little response. We also ordered fries to take away, but they were undercooked and tasted raw in the middle. Sadly, this experience has put me off returning.”

“I would have given this place 0 stars if that were possible. My husband and I visited last week and ordered the Wagyu burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Because we enjoyed it so much, we returned on Friday night 5th June, 2026 around 10pm specifically to have it again. Unfortunately, this visit was a huge disappointment. The burger looked cooked on the outside, but the inside was undercooked. It was also extremely dry and lacked any flavor, completely different from our previous experience. We also ordered a large portion of fries to take away for my mum. When we got home, we discovered that none of the fries had been cooked properly. They were pale, undercooked, and inedible. Although we visited Burger king close to closing time, we still paid the full price and expected the food to be prepared to the same standard. Sadly, that was not the case. Very disappointing experience. If I could, I would rate this place 0 stars.”
