  “Been to Nando’s gateway Reading for many years now but this time it was very disappointing. Staffs attitude was horrible. We were kept waiting for order to arrive to our table for 40 mins and had to keep going downstairs asking where’s the food. Eventually it came and starter was missing. The person serving pretended he doesn’t know anything about it then I showed the receipt and said ok. We were finishing our food but no sign of the starter, went to ask about it and the same person who brought our food was there but said to me very rudely I’m sorting it. Eventually starter arrived which is a disgrace as we finished all our food. Very disappointing and rubbish treatment first time in Nando’s. And it was not worth spending £72 where you’re not treated with respect as a customer. No apology for 40 mins delay. When that person was clearing the table, taking plates/glasses he was banging them so much it sounded like they will break. Why work there if he hates it?”

  “Suzy at Nando’s provided amazing customer service from start to finish. She was friendly, helpful, and made sure our food arrived piping hot with extra sauce and cooked well done exactly as requested — absolute perfection.   “Came into Nando’s today and Lavantae gave some of the best customer service I’ve had in a while. He was friendly, patient, and made sure everything came out right. Food was great and the whole experience felt welcoming because of him. Proper good energy from the moment we walked in. Deserves recognition for the effort he puts in”

  “Absolutely amazing experience at Nando’s! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour, but what really made the visit special was the incredible staff. Asmi was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, Alfie made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal, Malik brought such great energy and professionalism, and Ozzy went above and beyond to make us feel looked after. The whole team created such a positive atmosphere and genuinely made the experience memorable. Customer service like this is hard to find — huge credit to all four of them. Will definitely be coming back soon!”

  “Had an amazing experience at Nando’s today. The customer service was honestly 10/10 and the teamwork from the staff was outstanding. Asmi was super friendly and welcoming from the start, making sure everything was sorted and that we were comfortable. Maalik was really professional and attentive, always checking in and making sure everything we needed was taken care of. Alfie brought great energy and made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable, with excellent service throughout. Ozzy was also brilliant polite, helpful, and made sure the food and everything else was perfect. All of them kept checking that the food was great and that we were happy, which really stood out. Definitely one of the best Nando’s visits I’ve had big respect to the whole team!”

  “We visit this Nandos in Reading regularly with my colleagues, and it never misses. Even when we show up as a large group, the staff handles us perfectly and always goes the extra mile to provide the best service possible. ​Why we keep coming back: ​Great for Groups: They are very accommodating with seating and organization for our team. ​Excellent Staff: Every time we visit, the team is attentive and welcoming. ​Management: A big thanks to the management and the entire floor staff for always looking after us so well. ​Whether it’s a quick lunch or a big team sit-down, this location is our go-to. Highly recommend for the great vibes and consistent service!”

  “Pretty average. I don't feel like Nando's should be getting the simple stuff correct. We arrived at 8pm on Saturday night. I have no issues for needing to wait for a table but when it was finally released and my food arrived there were no knifes and forks which took 5 minutes to come. Then we needed some plates, another 5 minutes. Then we ordered seats, no spoons. I feel like these are simple problems to solve. Either buy more utensils, a bigger washer or more staff. It's pretty basic stuff...”

  “This is our go‑to Nando’s in Reading for several reasons. The food is always great - 5 years of visits and never a single disappointment in food or service. The location is ideal, sitting between the busyness of Reading town and the convenience of the M4. It also benefits from a large shared car park, which is a major plus. Because of all this, the restaurant gets extremely busy in the evenings and at weekends. If you’re visiting as a group, it’s worth dropping someone off immediately to secure a place in the queue before parking (and don’t forget to register your car inside).”

  “One place where there a vegetarian option in burger. Bean burger is ok. Chilli Rice is below average. Halloumi was average - too salty than usual.Garlic bread was bit chewy.Better in store.Sides are Mini portions. Not so great as a takeaway.”

  “We went for dinner and revived by CC who was provided a wonderful service. Ordered online and service was quick. Good is good and we were happy with the environment and everything. The kids meal portions were quite small. Rest all is good”
