“Such a shame to say we had a disappointing visit. Midweek visit at 11:00/11:30am where it wasn’t particularly busy. We waited 25 minutes to be served bacon butties “a classic British favourite done right” which was cold and dry with unbranded sauce. No butter on the toast and streaky bacon that was burnt to a crisp. Coffees were nice and I would have said something about the food but the poor little old lady sat next to us was completely missed. She order cake and a hot drink and patiently waited for it to be brought over, only to find out that she had been forgotten about. I don’t know if they were just understaffed this particular day or if it’s normally like this.”

“Whilst visiting family near Hoylake we stumbled across this little gem when the larger establishment next door said No to dogs. The Bank staff had no problem with our pooch visiting with us. …”

“Lovely little caffe/bar, well worth a visit. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent along with the service, all set in a relaxing atmosphere with great music. I opted for the cheese & ham toastie on sourdough, perfect, as was the presentation. The coffee is equally as good.”

“Always a great coffee here whether it’s iced or hot, first time trying the food here. Had the grilled bacon & smashed avocado and could not fault it.”
