Customer Review Summary

Opinion is divided on the grills. One diner found the Koubideh pale and low on flavour, the Barg kebab dry and tough, and the kebabs served with a tomato-paste sauce, while a Mirza Ghasemi starter and Salad Shirazi were singled out as fresh and tasty. Two one-star reviews call the naan a cold tortilla, the chicken dry, the zereshk rice lacking zereshk, and the soda in small bottles at full price. One of them describes a partial refund that did not make up for the meal.

“We visited Art of Persia recently. design thoughtfully incorporates traditional Persian symbols into a modern, stylish, and cozy setting. The background Persian traditional music added a wonderful touch to the ambience. The service was exceptional. The server who took our order was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive, regularly checking on us throughout our meal. For food, we ordered a few items: Starters: The Mirza Ghasemi with bread was fantastic and definitely the highlight of my meal! The Salad Shirazi was also fresh and tasty. Mains: Unfortunately, the main courses were a major letdown. Traditionally, Persian kebabs are served with grilled tomatoes, but here they were served with a tomato-paste-based sauce that had a strong paste taste. The Koubideh had an unusually pale color with little flavor, and the Barg kebab was very dry and tough. Even the rice had a distinct taste that I didn't enjoy. Additionally, the Mahiche (lamb shank) was quite ordinary. The only main that was relatively okay was the Joojeh (saffron chicken). Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with top-tier hospitality and great starters, but I really hope they revise their main course and kebab recipes to match true Iranian culinary standards.”

“Farhad the perfect host. Amazing food, the rice, so light and flavoursome. The lamb so tender, chicken turmeric delicious. I couldn’t recommend Art of Persia highly enough”

“Came here for dinner while traveling the UK. Superb food across the board. The Zereshk Pollo and Ghormeh Sabzi we're excellent as others have reviewed before. In addition we had two desserts, "Persian Halvah" and "Faloodeh with Bastani ice cream" both were extremely good, delicate and enticing flavors with just the right amount of sweeteness to not overwhelm the palate so the flavors could really come through. Do yourself a favor and try this place out, then keep coming back.”

“All I can say is that all the reviews for this place are not realistic. When you enter, it looks amazing and the staff seem nice, but when it comes to the food, it’s expensive and truly bad. We tried multiple dishes, and all of them were awful. We got part of our money back, but even a full refund wouldn’t fix it … it’s bad experience”
