What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention sweet and sour chicken balls, fried rice, hot and sour soup and curry sauce.
Customer Review Summary
Reviewers are split, and the most frequent complaint is the sweet and sour chicken balls, described as dripping in grease, dry and tough, or coated in a batter so thick it was hard to eat, with a sauce one reviewer likened to vinegar. Close behind, the fried rice and chow mein draw criticism, including special fried rice that was dry, beef fried rice with stodgy rice, and a mushroom chow mein of noodles with a few mushrooms on top, leaking juices into the bag. Chips and curry sauce also get marks down, from a small portion of chips to a watery, flavourless sauce, while another reviewer felt the curry sauce portion was oversized for what they were charged. The hot and sour soup is praised, and one reviewer rates the gravy as the only decent item. A few mention a delivery of well over an hour that arrived cold, and a poor attitude on the phone when they complained. Others describe delicious food, friendly customer service and years of repeat orders, and one notes the staff barely speak to customers. One diner, after a large order, noted the absence of free crackers or prawn crackers.

“Food is good unless you get chips. The place is a little weird as the staff don't even speak to the customers and don't take card.”

“Food wasn't good ordered special fried rice and was dry and tasted funky, Sweet and sour Chicken balls, chicken was over cooked and batter was dark and oilysweet and sour sause was just like vinegar, barbecue spares ribs looked cremated and didn't taste like barbecue should. I won't be going here again that's for sure didn't even get any free Ctackers or pop over a £40 order either”

“Ordered from here loads of times and food as been good , tonight we ordered took 1 hour 20 to come , when food arrived it was cold , so we called to complain, the person said we will let the chef know , ! It wasn’t the chef fault it was there slow delivery methods, and there attitude on the phone was very very poor , it’s a shame to leave a review like this . But they deserve it poor service tonight.!”
