Customer Review Summary
Salt and pepper chips are the clearest draw, with reviewers calling them the best they have had, and one pairing them with tasty mushy peas and curry sauce. Close behind, diners praise the huge wontons, the Singapore vermicelli and the crispy chilli chicken, and several describe cheap prices alongside good portions. Complaints centre on timing and the counter. One reviewer was left waiting in the shop well past the collection time they were given, another's delivery was said to be out for delivery long before it arrived, and a third accepts that delivery takes a while. Staff are described as rude or unwelcoming by a few, even among those who love the food. Quality also draws criticism in places: one order of salt and pepper chicken arrived hard with reheated-looking chips, and another reviewer found the food salty, the spring rolls burnt and the sweet and sour sauce diluted. Even so, several say meals have always been spot on, and one ordered for a dad's 90th birthday that everyone enjoyed.

“Such amazing value for money. I found this Chinese when I moved nearby and have ordered from there loads since even when friends visit, we always end up getting food from here. Nobody can ever believe how cheap it is for the quality you get! It’s rare to find somewhere that’s so affordable without compromising on taste or portion size. Consistently good food and great value. Highly recommended.”

“You get told to collect your order at a certain time then still left waiting in the shop for over 35 mins. Need to be honest with customers and let them know when it’s actually ready. Quite rude staff seems uncomftable in the shop not very friendly.”

“Food was bland the only thing we could taste was salt. The rice was far too stodgy, and the spring rolls were burnt, the batter the chicken was cooked in was burnt tasting and again just salty not salt and pepper taste it advertised, tasted nothing like it, the sweet and sour chicken sauce was diluted and not red in colour which you’d expect, will not be ordering from here again.”
