Customer Review Summary
Breakfast anchors the praise, with one regular recommending the big breakfast and another ordering a small breakfast alongside a salt and pepper chicken burrito, called one of the nicest they have had. Close behind are the chicken and rice box and the massive sandwiches, described as good value though with a small choice of options. Cakes also get a mention, and friendly, polite staff come up repeatedly. Several reviewers use the café for takeaway, phone orders and office delivery, and one notes a wait for the burrito. The sharpest criticism comes from one diner who says two breakfasts were nearly inedible, with burnt eggs, shrivelled mushrooms and undercooked bacon and sausages, and who left after three mouthfuls. A delivery customer also describes a late order when a new driver had a wrongly noted phone number, which the staff resolved by getting a colleague to call the office. One former regular was asked about their usual order after two years away.

“Drove past this place loads of times but decided to give it a try today. I ordered a salt and pepper chicken burrito 🌯 and step daughter had a small breakfast. Had to wait a bit for it but it was absolutely banging. One of the nicest burritos I've ever had. Will definitely be back soon.”

“Great food great staff every time would give 5 stars for everything but don't want people to think it's a fake review. Chicken and rice box are quality”

“We get a delivery in our office from here at least once a week, pretty much always spot on. This week they had a new delivery driver, and the food was late. Turned out the phone number wasn't written down properly so the driver couldn't contact us to tell us they were here. So, the person who takes the phone orders contacted the other person who was on holiday to call us to tell us the food was here. Proper commitment. Food is also good lol”

“This used to be my go to place for a late breakfast when I worked nearby, really liked that I could phone my order in so it was just about ready by the time I got there. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Went back recently after 2 years and was asked if I wanted "Your usual" (my recommendation - try the big breakfast)”
