“UPDATE - We were absolutely not offered an alternative. —————— Food was lovely. Managers attitude was appalling. Refused to sing happy birthday to my son because we … ‘didn’t bring our own cake’…? Thanks for that after we spent £70. That was nice trying to explain to a 9 year old.”

“As we dont live in the area, we were recommended Sambuca by a friend of a friend. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, food was quite exceptional, our friend and I both had Chicken Kiev, (the best that I have ever had) my wife chose the Pollo Sambuca, equally as good. Fabulous food and very good value, we look forward to returning again. Thank you all Sambuca.”

“Great value for money lunchtime specials. Good service without pestering people. Nice atmosphere. Close to a parking lot and other amenities. Our favourite when in Whitley Bay. Carbonara is a must try.”

“I have frequented this Sambucas a multitude of times throughout the last 6-7 years and always find the food incredible, especially for the price. Floor staff are delightful, pastas are delicious and they have the best pizza chef of all Sambucas. Will go again and again.. and again”

“A fantastic Saturday night out. Still thinking about my spicy tomato mussels the next day! For the main, I had a blackboard special (zesty spaghetti with prawns) and MY GOD! My husband had a blackboard pizza, and we finished that when we got home because the portions are too generous to finish, but too good to leave behind. The entire table loved everything they ordered. AND (and this is not something you often get these days anymore) we didn't have to wait around or flag anyone down for drinks or any extras. The staff were attentive and upbeat. What an absolute gem!”

“So we had a meal on a Wednesday night, it was a bit quiet as expected but the food and service was 5 Star. The 16.95 meal deal with a glass of wine for 2.50 was excellent. We would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back . The food is really good and no complaints.”
