What reviewers say
Reviewers most often mention roast duck, chow mein, pancake rolls and large family meal.
Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for tasty takeaway food that arrives hot, with several describing quick delivery, steaming dishes and a large family meal where every dish was delicious. Some also call the prices good value and mention friendly staff. The duck is singled out as tender and fresh, and the chow mein as great, while the pancake rolls are called nice but a little small. Consistency is the main caveat. One reviewer found the fried rice and deep fried chicken just okay, the orange chicken lacking flavour and the large spring roll pretty inedible, and another suspects quality varies with who is cooking. A two-year customer calls the service rude, describing the person at the till as absorbed in a phone and asking whether that was everything before the family order was finished, which left a partner forgetting items.

“Most of the time the food is good, we have had a few issues over the two years we have ordered from here. The reason my rating is low is the horrid service. The lady at the till is very rude, acts like taking an order is really getting on her nerves by taking her away from the scrolling on her precious mobile device. She says 'anything else?' before we have even finished listing the current item, rushing you despite there being no one else in the queue. My partner gets quite overwhelmed rattling off our family's order and her rushing often leads to him forgetting something. We also no longer get any fortune cookies, not that that is a deal breaker. Other takeaway places recommend dishes or suggest things like rice with the meal, not here. We certainly don't feel 'welcome' ordering from here, it's sad really.”

“A real mixed bag of an experience. Chow mein was great, the deep fried chicken was just okay and the fried rice was also just okay, nothing exceptional. The duck was the highlight, it was tender and fresh, didn’t really care for the vegetables it came with. The pancake rolls were nice, but maybe a little too small. The large spring roll was pretty inedible.. The orange chicken also lacked flavour to me. Overall a real rollercoaster of flavours and quality in terms of of the food. Likely won’t be returning again.”
