Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food, with the mixed grill, a New Yorker rib eye steak cooked perfectly, and a Curry House Feast that one diner says beat curries from some Indian restaurants. Close behind is the staff, described repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, with food that comes out quickly and hot. Several call the meals reasonably priced, and one mentions offers on food. A magician performing for a multi-generation family and a wide choice of wines, beers and spirits also earn mentions. The recurring caveats are cost and waiting: one reviewer took off a star because it was slightly more expensive than they would like, and another waited an hour for the curry, though the staff were upfront about it beforehand. One diner who received a parking fine after their visit contacted the pub, and the fine was cancelled.

“We’ve just been to the Cherry Tree in Culcheth as a family generation of four. There was a fabulous magician on called Magic Mike, he was brilliant and kept us all entertained especially our grandchildren with his tricks. Well done to all who work there the service was impeccable as was the food. Looking forward to more magic next month we will definitely be there.”
