  “Ordered a small breakfast nothing small about it plenty on plate, cooked beautifully and tasted amazing best breakfast I've had in ages. The cafe was a very relaxing place and staff we're very friendly. Definitely will go again.”

  “I visited today for a baked spud with tuna mayo, beans and cheese and a cuppa tea. The meal was huge and included a substantial salad with coleslaw. All was delicious and at £10.45, excellent value for money, best I've had! My only downmark on atmosphere is because it was very noisy, but nothing the café can do about that. I can't give enough praise on 5* food and service. HIGHLY recommended 👍🏻”

  “Visited for the first time today but it certainly won’t be the last! Fabulous coffee, (when you drink decaf it often tastes like dishwater) that was so good we decided to have lunch. Brilliant deal from the over 65’s menu , two tasty chicken dishes with rice followed by two delicious cheesecakes and a drink all for under £10 each! We will be back to sample more of the delicious freshly cooked dishes on the extensive menu!”

  “Called here for breakfast after a recommendation. Absolutely delighted that we did. Lovely cafe with a fantastic all day venue in very pleasant surroundings. I opted for the large breakfast. Very reasonably priced at £8.50. This also includes 2 slices of toast and a cup of tea. Highly recommend.”

  “We popped in for coffee and toast this morning during the Rhubarb Festival. It was dog friendly and our little pooch was very welcomed! We ordered coffee and a lovely waitress came with a bowl of sausages for our dog! It was greatly appreciated!! The cafe has a nice feel and would return again in the near future!”

  “Exceptional service straight off the bat. Very accommodating for dogs. Staff were amazing and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hot chocolate is the best I've had in ages. The food was delicious and definitely homemade. There was a slight mix-up with my order, but this was rectified. I had the omelette with chips, and Partner had beef burger with fries. Portion sizes were incredible, amazing value for money (see photos). Definitely recommend and will most certainly visit again! Thank you to the wonderful staff.”

  “Lovely bustling cafe, great range of food and catering for young to old, small to large appetites. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Very reasonable prices for high quality home cooked food. Thank you Sarah and the team for my treat breakfast this morning x Just been to their new premises today and wow what a transformation! Food as always was amazing.”

  “Fantastic please to go eat, lots of different items on the menu and the customer service is above and beyond. They're always be happy to do what they can to help you out with making your meal perfect for you. Easy going cafe, perfect for the lone student wanting to grab a bite to eat or a group wanting to meet up and have a beautiful dish together. Family friendly with high chairs and toys provided. Very clean, both front and back of cafe up to great standards as well as the nice little touches in the toilets to make sure everyone's stay there is on point.”
