  “Enjoyed an anniversary meal here. Fish and chips was great, did feel slightly under seasoned but nothing salt couldn't fix. Same with my partners braised pork, quality food but again slightly underseasoned. Don't let that stop you coming as 99% of everything was perfect. Tom was a great server and deserves a pay rise!”

  “Evening dinner for an 18th Birthday Celebration. The vibe was relaxed and friendly. The service attentive and well timed. Food was of a high quality and between our party we sampled a lot of what was on offer. Everyone agreed that the food was tasty, well prepared and well presented. Cocktails for my 18 year old were made ‘off piste’ to his preference and went down really well. It seemed nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel special and welcome. A faultless experience, thanks guys we’ll definitely be back.”

  “I visited TN1 today with my friend Keith and had a couple of coffees along with a sausage muffin. I was genuinely impressed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and relaxed, it honestly felt like being at home. The whole place has such a friendly vibe, making it somewhere you can easily sit back and enjoy your time. The service was outstanding too. Both of the waitresses were fantastic, especially Izzy, who along with her colleague made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly without ever being intrusive. Their friendly approach really added to the experience. As for the food, it was exceptional. I had the sausage muffin and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Combined with great coffee and such a warm atmosphere, it made for a really enjoyable visit. I'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend TN1 to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

  “This was our first time at TN1 and we are kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner!! The food was utterly delicious!! Everything had a real depth of flavour and came out piping hot! Prior to booking, we had read reviews and noted a common theme regarding ‘good service’ but not sure we were expecting the exact experience we had! All of the table staff were friendly, but more than that, were genuinely interested in us, what we thought of the food, and making sure we had everything we needed! We have to give a special mention to Will and Tom, who really looked after us!! What a brilliant experience!! We are looking forward to our next visit already!”

  “Choose the restaurant as we had a free drink voucher, (we were visiting the Trinity theatre ) So glad we visited. The staff were very helpful and informative. Great selection on the food and drink menu. The food was served quickly and well presented. It was delicious, probably the best hummus I've tasted ( starter platter) . The portion of mussels was large well cooked and with fries ashamed to say I couldn't finish it all. Coffee was excellent to finish.”

  “We had a brilliant meal for a friend's hen party. The atmosphere was great with a live singer and everyone enjoyed their food a lot. We had a variety from the menu, from British pub classics of pie to Thai curries and Mediterranean kebabs every dish was well presented and tasty. We had some allergies to be catered for and felt we could enjoy our meal knowing we were in safe hands. The restaurant dog Dave was also friendly and a cute evening companion”

  “Had a very nice lunch here (on a Saturday). It was quite busy but it felt comfortable to talk to others across the table. We both had a croque monsieur and latte. The lattes were really good (one oat, one skinny). The croque was huge and came with a small side salad. Good quality ingredients, well made. It was a bit rich for me but I can’t fault the quality. The other meals also looked excellent. Lovely atmosphere and a cute doggy wandering the floor. I’ll definitely return.”

  “Sunday lunch stop as passing by and looked busy. Cauliflower flower starter was great nice crispy cauliflower pieces the mango sauce was nice but a little too sweet for us. The mushroom wellington was lovely although the whole roast would have been better if not stacked as made the potatoes, wellington carrots and parsnips a little on the soggy side. Freshly made pressed juice was great. Definitely doggy friendly only wish we had our furbaby with us :-))”

  “We have been here a couple of times for lunch and not been disappointed. The service is attentive and friendly The menu is quite vast and varied but the lamb and the fish curry are really good. My partner had the muscles, which were lovely, but huge. Nice drinks too. It was a bit noisy, but I think that was more the guests around us than the background noise. I was a bit disappointed with the cake I took away for later, but otherwise very good. Recommend for lunch, can’t comment for dinner”

  “Really enjoyed our dinner here. Super atmosphere and decorations. Really comfortable. The staff were really quick and attentive and had great attitudes. The food was really good. We had 3 tapas and they were all so good and plenty of food. Would definitely return. They even warmed the restaurant up for us.”
