  “Our host for the evening Andy was very kind and was very helpful in helping us decide what to have for the evening. He was extremelt knowledgeable on which wines paired the best with our food. Never before have my partner and I had such incredible service and we do hope that he is there the next time we visit!”

  “I’ve just been for breakfast with a friend at Cote Tunbridge Wells and whilst service is always great here, today was a step above. My friend had booked a table and notified them it was for my birthday, the moment I walked in a member of staff wished me a happy birthday. The food was delicious, staff were friendly and just the right amount of attentive & the atmosphere was perfect. We took our time chatting & didn’t once feel rushed or hurried to finish. I was most surprised when I was brought out a gorgeous treat, in aid of my birthday (see picture) and yet again was wished a happy birthday by staff. It made the whole occasion so special and I thank everyone at Cote. Will definitely be back!”

  “We had such a lovey time at côte in Tunbridge wells last Friday. After being let down by another restaurant it came to the rescue. Delicious food & drinks with amazing service from Jaz, we were so well looked after and it made my father in laws birthday super special ❤️”

  “I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for a really memorable evening which was navigated beautifully by the lovely Julia. We were really looked after throughout the entire evening and we couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and friendly host for my surprise belated birthday meal that I really wasn’t expecting but really enjoyed. The food and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and the only thing that topped it was the company I was with. Thank you again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

  “Our first visit to Cote Tunbridge Wells…. From the moment we arrived, through to ordering our food, your service was exemplary. We had the minute steak with unlimited fries, which was hiked the the best I’ve tasted! Cristina looked after us beautifully from start to finish. Rarely, have I been somewhere that felt so completely perfect! Great value, great food and great service. Thank you Cristina, we shall return for sure!”

  “A lovely lady mainly waited on our table. The food was great and so were the drinks. However, there was a younger waiter who had quite abit of an attitude problem. We were enjoying a lovely meal but this young male waiter decided he did not like my grandad. He bought over his cheese board and my grandad made a joke about the portion size (we all laughed) the portion size was great. He then asked for a knife to cut the cheese. The male waiter came back with a blunt knife. My grandad kindly asked for one sharper one- as he walked away from our table he was muttering things under his breath and huffing. I smiled I said Thankyou! We were all nothing but polite because not everyone gets everyone’s humour but this young waiter walked away saying nothing and threw the butter knife so harshly into the sink in the kitchen that we heard it from our table. I still smiled but I got nothing but filthy looks from him. I have not written this review to cause upset. I have mainly written this and I found it to be quite upsetting to have experienced this in a place I have been many times before with no issues. Thank you to the kind lady waiter who laughed with us and helped make our experience better.”

  “A wonderful valentine's lunch with delicious two courses and complimentary fizz. The meal took a while but it gave us plenty of time to catch up with friends. A perfect restaurant experience”

  “Service is good, particularly the lovely lady with glasses who I assumed was the manager. Food is good (apart from the Cote burger which I thought was quite bland), and it’s a very nice place to sit and have lunch. I do think there is a bit of a value for money issue as some of the portioning is very tight compared to what you have to pay. Over 5 pounds for a small side serving of creamed spinach, for example. We still did have a good time and enjoyed our desserts too, and despite a kerfuffle with our ordering we still left happy as the manager rectified things by generously writing off some of our bill. I also appreciated them acknowledging my Dad’s birthday by lighting a candle and coming over to give best wishes. If you don’t mind the cost and want good service and a classy lunch, this is the place.”
