  “We came for a birthday meal and Megan our Waitress was superb. The starters of oysters and Burrata was fantastic. My wife had the crab linguine and I ordered the Lamb. The lamb actually was delayed coming out and they apologised and didnt even charge us. This is a really friendly and well run restaurant - we will be back Thanks Sophie and Chris”

  “Verdigris hosted my son's wedding. They could not have worked harder to make the day better. Food was superb. The staff could not have been more helpful especially Millie and Adam. Adam was a superstar going to buy Tia Maria to make the mother of the groom very happy 😁. Would highly recommend.”

  “This is a charming bar set alongside the river that flows through the town. A perfect place to sit and relax or meet up with some friends. I haven't eaten here but I understand the food is excellent. Every single member of staff is very friendly and attentive and they always welcome you with a smile. It seems wrong to single out individual members of staff as they are all excellent, but I do have to say that Adam, Ryan and Millie excel. If you have never been here I can assure you if you try it, you won't be disappointed. By the way, I have not been paid for this review!”

  “Great food and service. We sat outside with a view of the river. The only downside was a whiff of what smelled like bins in the adjacent service yard, not sure if something can be done about that. Definitely recommendable overall!”

  “Just had an incredible Sunday brunch at Verdegris. A great choice of dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. Lovely service and a great atmosphere. Everything about our experience was of the highest possible standard. We can't wait to go back again”

  “A gem in tonbridge - what a place. Great atmosphere, food and decor. We had dinner and you can tell high quality ingredients. Great selection of wines and cocktails. You can see that the place oozes love and care not another chain or gimmick. Great staff - Great food - Great atmosphere. Keep it up!”

  “I went to the verdigris tonbridge with my dad today There today to drink I had a latte which I really enjoyed It was the best latte I have ever had in the whole wide world My dad had a peppermint tea he really enjoyed it And also had a biscuit to go with it which the very lovely staff gave me which was very kind of them They have very good wifi too because it was free wifi which is super good And also I didn't need to enter a password for it which is very handy I connected to their wifi no problems included which was very good as well It was so lovely trying out this place I really like trying out new places that I never been to before because it's gives you the chance to see what experience you have I think I had a very good experience at verdigris tonbridge today The staff are very kind lovely and super friendly The service there is very lovely friendly welcoming I had a very lovely first experience there today at verdigris tonbridge with my dad This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Enjoy reading your google review by me Have a lovely rest of your google review by me 5 stars all around”

  “Nice quiet place by the river. Good selection of veggie options, and the food is presented and tastes great whilst the prices were still reasonable. It has outdoor seating too, that even on a cold grey day; it was still nice to sit there and have a tasty lunch.”

  “Popped in for a coffee to meet up with a friend. Cannot comment on the food but the plates brought out looked nice enough. A very relaxed place with music just below conversation level so didn't have to shout. Excellent location in town and a perfect place to meet up. The decoration is tasteful enough to give the place a nice ambiance.”
