  “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I highly recommend Kokoro in Surbiton for Chinese food. The food is really delicious and one of the best I’ve had. Everything is always freshly prepared every day, and whenever I’m hungry and want good food, this is the place I go. Not only is the food 100% good quality, but the staff are extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. They always make you feel comfortable and happy when you visit. Special thanks to Estel and Yannis — they are amazing people and provide great service. I keep coming back again and again, and I’m very glad we have such a wonderful shop and team in our area. I’m very happy and grateful to have Coro nearby. Highly recommended to everyone!”

  “I went to this place before my shift finished to order some food and told the boy serving i would be back in 10-15min.It was quiet and The boy was serving on his own at the front (young boy, named Janes, sorry for misspelling). He was giving fast and friendly service and apparently also doing deliveroo orders! He had my food ready by the time i came back and he kept it warm on the side for me. Portioning was great! Nice detail to write “Enjoy” on the lid :)”

  “Just ordered a takeaway out of large katsu curry - cannot underestimate how dry it is. In the past the quality has been exceptional but this really makes question whether it is worth it”

  “Very nice food. Didn't expect it to be so tasty. Not many people in, quiet and clean shop. I didn't fancy the small spoon for the ramen, so I had to have it the Japanese style. I would've liked also if there was tap water provided, haven't asked but couldn't see a jar or glasses.”

  “I just can’t pass this Kokoro without going in on my way home!! The smell Of katsu and fresh sushi are mouth watering just thinking about it. Its different vibe from Other Kokoros. this one is always clean and inviting. Good place to eat alone! Love the food and plants!”

  “This place is a joke. I attended on the 1st of May 2023 about 4pm after visiting a friend to get some food. I told the lady that I wanted noodles with 2 toppings of beef and fish (salmon) but she said no that she couldn't combine the two toppings but I told her that I always get that combination from all Kokoro branches that I have been too but she was adamant. I had to leave and went to another Kokoro on my way home and got the exact combination. It is either the lady doesn't know what she is doing or the branch is out of touch with reality. That was my first and definitely the last visit. See photos of the same combination I got from another Kokoro.”

  “My first visit to kokoro. Salmon teriyaki and sweet potatoe katsu curry. The katsu was cold and soggy. The salmon were off cuts and the teriyaki sauce was horribly sweet. The sushi did look nice, but it was cold and we wanted something to warm us up. Won't be ordering the hot food again.”
