  “Honestly a bit disappointed. Decided to give Babaji another try after having a bad experience the last time, and wish we didn’t bother. Arrived on time after booking, waited for a bit after being greeted (which I don’t mind, it’s a busy place). Was then told a booth was just being cleared up and he would seat us there, perfect. The booth was cleared, then the next couple which came to the door (who arrived after us may I add) were then instantly seated in the booth which was being prepared for us. We then waited another 5 minutes or so before being seated elsewhere, and was told don’t worry - just grab a drink and we’ll move up into another booth which another party is finishing in, 10 minutes passed… nothing. Then after another 5 minutes was asked for our order after being told to wait (does anyone in this restaurant communicate to each other?). We then ordered, gave us the wrong amount of poppadoms, and also forgot to bring us the only drink we ordered (had to ask again after 10 minutes). Starter was okay, nothing to shout home about, all cooked well but flavour lacked a bit. Mains arrived fine, but again nothing to wow us, ordered the lamb which was tender but somehow dry at the same time. Service seriously left a lot to be desired and spilt the evening to be honest, it feels like the restaurant is never prepared and very sporadic, it was the same the last time we visited so this isn’t a one-off occurrence at busier periods.”
