  “Had not been to East Garden for a while but since the better takeaway across the road is temporarily closed, been twice in the last couple of weeks and my has it gone downhill. I've always held the opinion that they use way too much garlic in their dishes which tends to overpower everything. However, last nights meal was generally only fit for the bin. Went for collection and waited about 45 mins in the shop - they only saved a star here as it was busy. Customers in the shop were repeatedly being asked what they ordered. All seemed chaotic. By the time food came out and got it home (all of about 200m) opened the bag. Chips were stone cold, rice was lukewarm and rubbery (obviously cooked hours ago). Beef in the Curry was tough and rubbery. Chicken and Prawn dish lacked anything resembling a prawn, the chicken seemed like cheap reformed pressed chicken. Whole dish was bland and tasteless (apart from the obligatory overuse of Garlic). Really couldn't be bothered to take it back as didn't want to wait for nearly another hour. Can maybe forgive alot of things as been busy - even cold food if being delivered, but cold chips and rubbery rice when collecting - that is so basic it's inexcusable. Certainly won't be going back. One saving grace is the bin had a good meal last night.”

  “Order from here regularly and the food is always nice and delivered hot. Can't understand the negative reviews as it's one of the most consistent takeaways I have ordered from.”

  “Waited 2 hours 20 minutes for a spice bag and some noodles . Was freezing and been out that long the curry and bb sauce had congealed into blob of slime Her expensive too considering rice and noodles wasn’t full I. Boxes Wont use again”

  “Ordered food to be delivered and it took just under 2 hours to come and by god you could tell it hadn't come straight to us, all the food was freezing cold and had to be reheated to eat, on top of that the chips were missing and we were only given a half portion of chicken egg foo yung. When we rang and spoke to the restaurant, we were told I can send it out but it could be a while as he needed to wait for the delivery driver to get back and then come back out, on a Saturday night why would you only have 1 delivery driver? Anyway he also offered full free meal next time we ordered but after this experience we will never order again, the food was not only cold but wasn't nice at all, the bbq spare ribs hardly had any meat on and the sauce was so sweet I felt like I was eating sugar, the gravy was also too salty to eat, overall our first time ordering here will definitely be our last, £50 wasted absolutely appalling!”

  “First and last time I use this takeaway, my chicken with tomatoes and egg fried rice was less than tasty. My chicken was coloured pink! (See pic) The "tomato sauce " also had hints of pink in it, it also had a weird taste to it. The rice was undercooked as it was a bit "al dente" I didn't enjoy one bit of it, and in future, I'll stick to the Ling sun”

  “Service was good come with in the hour driver was very polite . But the food was horrible the chicken in the curry didn't even look like chicken it was very soft and rubbery the curry was very salty and very spicy . This will be our first and last time I will be getting a meal from here .”

  “Terrible. Everything far too salty and strongly flavoured. Really disappointing. Called to complain and was told ‘we only have two chefs on tonight’ but not sure why if you know you can’t cope with the orders you’d stay open and let your customers down. Avoid!”
