Customer Review Summary
Diners most often praise tasty, piping hot food from a friendly, family-run team, with generous portions and a special fried rice described as packed to the brim. Salt and pepper chicken and beef get singled out by one reviewer, alongside black bean sauce, curry and a house special chow mein with soft meat and juicy prawns. One reviewer says the chicken doesn't taste like frozen chunks, and another appreciates that there are no dodgy delivery riders milling about. Several describe delivery as reliably quick, though one notes it ran noticeably late once. Not every experience was positive. One reviewer found the curry sauce thick with cornflour and the fried rice closer to rice pudding. Another found the chilli salt and pepper chicken bland, with no salt, pepper or chilli tasted in most pieces, though the curry chips and egg fried rice were very nice. That same order came with three fortune cookies.

“The best Chinese in the North East! Friendly service and the food is always scrumptious. I believe its family run too! It's in a convenient location with free parking nearby. It has some comfy benches in the shop if you need to wait... which you rarely have to do! Love this place!”

“Got a simple chips and egg fried rice in curry sauce, as well as chilli salt and pepper chicken. The chips curry and rice were very nice, but the chicken was incredibly bland and had next to no flavour in most pieces, no salt and pepper or chili to be tasted. Maybe it was just a one off. I'll probably go back to see. They even included 3 fortune cookies which was nice. 3.5/5”
