Customer Review Summary
Diners most often single out the service, describing staff as welcoming, attentive and consistent, with one reviewer noting they pick up on what is implied as well as what is said. The food comes close behind, with the Dal Makhani called the best one reviewer has had anywhere, a flaky paratha, and a chicken karahi that recalled wedding feast cooking. Others praise a Chettinad chicken, dishes that taste different from one another thanks to fragrant herbs and fresh vegetables, and a meal that was not overly spicy. Several call it a step above the usual curry houses. The drinks list and wines get mentions too, including a house Chardonnay, along with reasonable prices. Many are long-time regulars who have marked family birthdays and anniversaries here, and one family of seven praised their lunch. No recurring complaint appears. A few suggest booking ahead because the restaurant is popular, and one reviewer names the gardens as their favourite place to dine.

“We’ve been coming here for the last several years and always have incredible food. The Dal Makhani is the best we’ve had anywhere and their paratha is wonderfully flaky and full of flavour. You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes! The staff are also wonderful and attentive. Always excellent service! We will be coming back for many more meals!”

“We’ve been going to Zest for well over a decade, have celebrated tonnes of family milestones here - birthdays, anniversaries, get togethers with friends, and they’ve never disappointed. The food is high quality and the service is excellent. Their chicken karahi reminds me of shaadi food. Highly recommend. 10/10.”
