  “My second visit to buy take away. It makes kFC look pathetic. Lots of absolutely amazing fries . Massive pieces of chicken. KFC have definitely lost my custom. For me chunky chicken every time for service quality of food customer service and value”

  “I had a really bad experience at Chunky Chicken. I ordered their wings and honestly, I was shocked when I saw them. There were big bits of what looked like hair or fur stuck on the wings, which completely put me off my food. It wasn’t just one piece either, there were multiple bits and it was really noticeable. The hygiene standards clearly aren’t where they should be, and it made me question how the food is being prepared. I couldn’t even finish the meal because it made me feel sick. Definitely not going back after that. They seriously need to sort out their cleanliness and food quality.”

  “Yesterday I purchased some wings from Chunky Chicken, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. As soon as I got the food, I noticed that the chicken had an unpleasant smell, which immediately raised concerns about its freshness and quality. Because of this, I decided to return to the shop and bring the issue to their attention. When I went back, the staff did process a refund for me, which I appreciate. However, I was quite surprised and honestly disappointed that there was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. A simple “sorry” or a bit of understanding would have gone a long way in showing basic customer care and respect. It wasn’t just about the refund it was about how the situation was handled. Good customer service can often turn a negative experience into a more neutral or even positive one, but in this case, the lack of communication and empathy made it feel frustrating and dismissive. Overall, this experience left me quite dissatisfied. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously and works on both food quality and customer service, as both are equally important.”

  “Delivery took over 2 hours for a chicken burger and garlic bread. Supposed be max 45 mins. When rang to check told 5 mins away, rang again 40 more mins later, answered phonextalking to customers in shop, thenn phone was constantly engaged aft that. Food finally arrived cold, soggy and no apology. Never again. Reluctant to give 1 star”

  “My go to place for peri chicken when I’m in Stoke. Been obsessed since uni days, and over a decade later does not disappoint! 🔥🔥 one of the best chicken joints in Stoke in my opinion. Good service too, friendly and helpful teams. Thank you CC, keep up the fantastic work 👌🏽”

  “Service is absolutely shocking! I ordered online through the website and had food delivered. Food was delivered within an hour or so which is pretty standard from most places, so no complaints on that front. On opening the order I found chicken and gravy, no chips. I rang up straight away and was told I'll see what I can do, end of phone call. Half an hour later and I'm still waiting to see what he could do, and so I rang up again. I spoke to a different person and explained the situation and straight away got told the driver was 5 minutes away, I asked what exactly the driver was bringing as everything else had been sitting going cold for the past half hour, the response was I'll call the driver. After 4 minutes on hold I get told the driver is 1 minute away and the phone went down. No apology, no offer to replace the meal, just a disappointing experience. Don't waste your money here, go to KFC you'll spend less and if anything goes wrong you stand a chance of getting it sorted.”

  “I was really pleasantly surprised by how decent my fried chicken wrap was. Definitely like fast food, but they were the only restaurant open late. Chips were salty and delicious. Wouldn’t make it a point to visit, but if you need to eat late at night this place works.”

  “Alls I can say is DISGUSTING! Their food their attitude towards complains is just a disgrace, ordered an ozzy burger which is a CHICKEN FILLET BURGER! We found a bone in it and when we rang to complain the worker blamed it completely on the chicken supplier LOL, wanted a refund but he insisted on sending another burger out. To be honest it put us all off the food and it’s sad to see places like this not even putting the littlest care in their service and food”

  “Absolutely disgusting pizza, I've never had worse. Dough was uncooked I think asda 99p pizza is better. The burger was ok just normal, staff had attitude when we showed uncooked pizza”
