About Lahori Kebabish
Lahori Kebabish is a halal Pakistani restaurant in Stoke On Trent, at 37 Stoke Rd, built around charcoal grills and Lahori Tawa sharing platters. The kitchen cooks its karahi from scratch to order, with chicken or lamb as the choice of meat. Sindhi biryani rounds out the main dishes, and a pizza option sits on the menu for those who want something different. The dining room has been recently refurbished and is spacious, which makes it workable for big family groups sharing platters across a table. The restaurant keeps late hours, so it suits a late-night meal as well as an early evening one.

Customer Review Summary
Flavour is what reviewers return to most, with one takeaway diner calling the depth of flavour in the curries night and day next to better-known Stoke spots, and others describing flavorful, tasty dishes. Wings, chicken and fries get a nod as good, and several praise welcoming, friendly staff who were accommodating to a big family and to a late Saturday visit. Execution divides opinion sharply. One reviewer found the chicken sheesh kebabs made hours earlier and not moist, another said the kebabs lacked taste, and a third asked for a spicy curry and received a mild one while paying more for a tawa than elsewhere. A Friday evening diner reports a single front of house person, sauces requested repeatedly and fries arriving well after the kebabs. A delivery customer reports a very long wait and a mouldy drink. Another says the pizza came out burnt and the staff member did not apologize. On a warmer note, one traveling family recalls the owner taking time to stop and chat.

“Food was average. Paid 40 for a tawa which is more than other places. Asked for spicy curry but got mild. The chicken Sheesh kebabs which are supposed to be fresh were made like hours ago and were not moist. Wings were good. Chicken was good. Fries were good. Quite average.”
