About Liva Restaurant
Liva Restaurant is a Persian restaurant at 6-8 Shaw Rd in Stockport, with a Turkish-inspired menu that includes Turkish-style starters and sharing plates. Grilled dishes and kebabs are part of the menu, including koobideh, and Ghormeh Sabzi and Zereshk Polo are among the other dishes. Reservations are taken. During the starters, the staff check with the table when to begin cooking the meat, so the grill follows the table's progress through the meal. Dessert is served, and music plays in the dining room.

“Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! We visited this Persian restaurant with our friends and had an amazing time. The location is great, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a very stylish and elegant interior as well as a lovely outdoor seating area. The food was absolutely delicious. The Turkish-style starters were particularly impressive — fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The kebabs were also outstanding: perfectly cooked, incredibly tender and packed with flavour. What really made the experience even better was the wonderful service. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We had made a reservation and everything was organised perfectly for our get-together with friends. Overall, a fantastic combination of excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, great location and genuinely friendly service. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“First visit with friends and we all enjoyed the whole experience. The food was really good as was the service. They checked with us during the starters if we would like them to start cooking our meat yet which we thought was a great touch. We asked them to hang on for ten more minutes. Couldn’t fault them. Will certainly return and recommend.”

“We drove all the way from Southport to Stockport just to visit Liva Restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. There were three of us, but we were generously served enough food for four. We ordered a mix of joojeh, koobideh, and chenjeh, and every dish was cooked beautifully - full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. The dessert was also exceptional and a perfect way to finish the meal. The atmosphere was just as impressive as the food -warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable. This is not just a place to eat, but somewhere worth travelling for. We will definitely be coming back.”
