Customer Review Summary
Mango sticky rice is the dish reviewers raise most, called the star of one lunch and "to die for" by another, with the squid starter and beef rendang also singled out. Diners describe authentic, flavourful Thai cooking, praising the chicken satay, calamari, pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, Moo Ping and chicken wings, plus cocktails and an open kitchen. Several mention the set lunch, with one calling it good value. Complaints are mixed. One diner reports miserable, rude service on a busy, noisy Saturday night, with a card machine pushed toward them and staff walking off without a thank you. Others note a warm room without air conditioning or ventilation, a bench chair too low for the table, coarse meat in a takeaway, and small portions at lunch, though another found portions generous. One reviewer calls it a second choice among Stevenage's Thai restaurants. A returning diner closes on the sense that the kitchen is "actually cooking for you.

“First time we'd been there. Food was good. Atmosphere was great. But absolutely terrible service. We spent £170 in there and the staff (one lady in particular) were just miserable & rude. There was zero customer service. When we paid by card, the lady pushed her card machine in my face and when payment was done, she literally walked off. No smile. No thank you. We got up and left. No one batted an eyelid. One lady that had served us, had eye contact with me as we were walking out, but that was it. They WERE very busy in there on this Saturday night and it was extremely noisy, but you're in the hospitality business. If you can't cope stay away from paying customers.”

“Amazing food, excellent cocktails, and the mango sticky rice was to die for! The only downside was the lack of air conditioning or ventilation, which made it quite warm on a hot day. That said, the heat almost added to the authenticity—it really felt like being in Thailand! 🇹🇭😉”

“A lovely spot for authentic Thai food. We tried a few of their signature dishes, and everything was packed with rich, traditional flavors and fresh ingredients. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price.”

“Had such a wonderful meal here recently. The presentation was absolutely lovely, especially the fried rice served in that perfect neat mound topped with delicate ribbons of egg and a single slice of red chilli. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavour. The prawn crackers were a great start, and we really appreciated the thoughtful way everything was plated in those rustic ceramic bowls. I will definitely be back soon.”

“2nd time coming, had to see whether my first impressions were correct. It is awesome. Beef rendang is flavoursome and so well cooked. The Moo Ping and chicken wing starters are very tasty and thought out. So many restaurants feel basic these days, this one feels like they are actually cooking for you.”
