  “Ordered through Just eat - cancelled order after two hours when courier confirmed there was no order and courier wasn't at restaurant despite the repeated updates saying they were. Absolutely abysmal. Order kept saying it was there and adjusting the times to say it was being prepared, when it clearly wasn't true.”

  “I used the drive thru tonight, yes it was busy both the drinks had no ice and were warm as for the food, fries and the big Mac had frost bite very dissapointed. Ended up putting the entire order in the bin.”

  ““24hr service” Unless in a car for drive through or you want to order a delivery driver to walk the 5 metres between the service desk and the front door it isn’t 24 hours. No other issues, aside from rude staff as when asking if I could get food they were told not to talk to you unless through the closed front door… “if you don’t have a car we won’t serve you” Alright fella I’m just trying to grab a quick meal at 11.30 before I get a train (rail replacement bus), nice one. Slightly atmospheric as they had some aura not wanting to talk to people. Mb for wanting a 24hr restaurant to be 24 hours. My issue obviously…”

  “Had worst experience of Mc D in UK, Have to wait for at least 25 minutes for my order, Ordered hot coffee, but it was a normal temperature. Food was bot hot, No tissues provided after requesting for tissues. Hair was given with tissues. Refer picture. Zero customer service and no attention towards the customers”

  “Staff are lovely, very clean premises. A lovely group of vulnerable adults having a lovely time, and I heard an older gentleman mutter "disgusting" towards one of the group. Then I saw two mums with young children, looking over at said group, and laughing to themselves. But the group were lovely, as were their carers. The staff were very kind, and helpful. Never used the toilets, so cannot comment.”

  “Completely illequipped to deal with "peak" times. If they do not have the staff, they should not offer table service as an option. 20 minute wait for 2 mcflurries that arrived melted as the staff behind the counter made them seemingly when the order came in, but only one server meant there was a significant delay in bringing in out. A management problem not a staff problem.”

  “Oh dear, so sad to see the awful reviews. This restaurant is in a very busy part of Stevenage and is potentially extremely busy. I'm shocked at the content of the reviews. Our food was lovely, very fresh and tasty. The restaurant has been refurbished since I was last here and is much nicer. The only thing I didn't like was the milkshake which seemed full of air and not much content. The quality of staff you employ is what makes these places successful and makes people return frequently. Be careful, act on your reviews, they are important.”

  “⭐ 1 Star – Consistently Awful Experience I’ve given the McDonald’s in the Stevenage Leisure Centre far too many chances, and every visit just highlights how badly it’s run. I’ve seen staff members standing around with their hands down their trousers, which is completely unprofessional and honestly disgusting in a food environment. Some of the staff are also very rude, which doesn’t help at all. On at least two separate visits, my food was left sitting out for ages before being handed to me—not even under a hot lamp. By the time it reached me, it was cold and stale. The general cleanliness is just as bad. The place is often a mess with dirty tables and overflowing bins, and on multiple occasions I’ve seen loads of flies hovering around the milkshake and ice cream machine. That alone tells you everything you need to know about the hygiene standards here. And then there’s tonight. They’re supposed to be open until 1am, but at around 12:30 the doors were already locked—they’d clearly closed early. I tried to order through the app instead, only for the order to be cancelled immediately. If they can’t stick to their own opening hours, the least they could do is update them. Overall, this is consistently the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. Avoid if you can. If I could give it 0* I would, and typically I wouldn’t leave bad reviews because it’s unlike me, or review a McDonalds because you know what to expect but I’d never put McDonalds down for its uncleanliness, they typically pride themselves on their standards , however this site lets them down and it’s consistently worse everytime…”

  “I ordered a side salad to go with my meal, but this is what I received in the salad box: one slice of tomato, three slices of red onion, and a few leaves. This is the first time this has happened, and it is not acceptable. I have attached pictures for reference.”
