From the moment we arrived, Michael went above and beyond to make our evening special. He warmly welcomed us, offered to take photos for us, and even took the initiative to move us to a more private spot before we had to ask. These thoughtful gestures made such a difference and showed just how much he genuinely cared about our experience. Throughout the evening, Michael was attentive, polite, knowledgeable, and an absolute star when it came to customer service. His attention to detail, professionalism, and outstanding product knowledge really stood out. A special thank you to Michael for our anniversary platter, his kind congratulatory words, and the extra effort he made to ensure we both felt welcomed and celebrated.   “Really enjoyed our visit to Prezzo. Michael and Casey were brilliant — so polite, friendly and attentive from start to finish. The service was quick, but we never felt rushed, and they both went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and genuinely great service. Would definitely visit again! 😊”

  “Lovely service, but terrible voucher restrictions and chaotic atmosphereWe visited Prezzo on Saturday as we had been bought a Buyagift voucher. While the food was very nice and the staff were genuinely lovely, the restrictive policies and chaotic environment left us deeply disappointed. We will not be returning to this venue. The Positives:Excellent Staff: Our young server was incredibly polite. Even when he couldn't answer some of our questions, he was quick to go and ask for us. Good Food: The dishes we eventually ordered were well-prepared and tasted very nice. The Major Downsides:Chaos and Noise: Because this branch is located inside a busy leisure park alongside a cinema and bowling alley, the inside of the restaurant was overwhelmingly loud and chaotic. It was so bad that we rejected the indoor table we were initially offered and asked to sit outside just to have some peace. Restricted Voucher Policy: We had already looked at the main menu online and selected what we wanted. Upon arrival, we were told we were couldnt order off the main menu and pay the difference. Instead, we were forced to choose from a highly restricted, scaled-down menu.It is incredibly frustrating that we couldn't just pay the difference for the meals we actually wanted, especially since we were already paying extra out of pocket for our drinks and sides. Very disappointed Prezzo your only saving grace was the young man who served us although I was a little taken aback when he asked me to hold on to my starter cutlery for my main course.”

  “Had a brilliant meal at Prezzo, but what truly made the evening special was the outstanding service. Our waitress, Caitlin, was absolute perfection. She was incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive, completely on point with our drinks and food orders, and wonderfully understanding of our needs throughout the night. It’s rare to find service that strikes such a perfect balance of professional, sharp, and genuinely warm. Thank you, Caitlin, for making our dinner so perfect. We will definitely be back!”

  “Overall the restaurant to be fairly average. Quality of the food, flavour, and presentation were OK, but nothing particularly stood out. The highlight of the meal was the mini doughnut dessert, which was fresh and well presented. The Caesar salad was also very good, fresh ingredients, nicely prepared. Pizza tasted as though it may have been made from a frozen base, and the salmon steak was rather underwhelming. Given that the restaurant presents itself as a fine-dining Italian, I was surprised that there was no olive oil or balsamic vinegar on the table! Interior is not pleased and welcoming. The combination of light blue, olive green and oak finishes felt somewhat disconnected and lacked a clear theme. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. My rating would be 6/10.”

  “My colleagues and I visited the Prezzo in Stevenage on 18th December for a pre-booked Christmas meal as a group of 6. Unfortunately, this was my first and most likely last experience at this restaurant, as it was very disappointing. I ordered a three-course meal, with a meat lovers pizza as my main. Some or my colleagues just ordered 2 courses. The pizza was extremely underwhelming. The ham consisted mostly of fatty pieces scattered across the pizza, which I found unpleasant as I do not eat fat. There was also a noticeable lack of cheese around the crust, making the pizza feel dry and poorly prepared. Despite the till being located right by our table, no one once checked to see if everything was okay. While we understood that it was a very busy time of year, the service was frustratingly slow. We waited over 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order, and eventually had to ask for a waiter ourselves to place our food orders. The staff member who served us was abrupt/ service without a smile. She spoke very quietly in an already loud restaurant, making it difficult to hear her at all. The atmosphere was another issue, although it looks lovely inside the restaurant was extremely noisy and it was almost impossible to have a conversation without shouting across the table. At the end of the evening, we noticed that extra drinks and an extra starter had been added to our bill that we had not ordered. This was quite concerning and made us wonder how often this may happen to other customers in larger groups. We requested that the incorrect items be removed and were eventually given a corrected receipt which we then paid. We arrived at 7:30pm and did not leave until 10:30pm, which felt far too long for the experience we received. Surprisingly, the longest wait of the entire evening was for dessert, we waited over an hour for one slice of tiramisu, two slices of cheesecakes, and one slice of chocolate fudge cake. Overall, the food was average at best. I’ve had far better food elsewhere. The service was poor throughout the evening, which significantly impacted our experience. As a result, this visit was very disappointing, and I will not be returning to Prezzo in Stevenage anytime soon.”

  “Last minute we opted for Prezzo as a couple of our faves have gone. What a fab surprise. Our fantastic server Michael was superb and our birthday boy had a great time. Copious cocktails, super quick service and a lovely surprise personalised dessert. The food is what you would expect, tasty large portions. A bustling family environment but Michael made it really special and would highly recommend for a family birthday celebration. Thank you so much. ❤️”
