  “Honestly, this is the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. I ordered the salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper chips, and unfortunately neither was enjoyable. The chips were extremely dry and unpleasant, while the chicken was so hard that I actually chipped my tooth trying to eat it. I was really looking forward to my food, but it was so hard and dry that I couldn’t even eat it. It was a complete waste of money, and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I would definitely not recommend this takeaway based on my experience. 😞”

  “Didn't attempt delivery. Left it sat unmarked for over an hour on the system. I tried calling and they just shouted at me and said it was left outside our house (Plot twist: It wasn't) Rudest service I've ever seen.”

  “Really tasty food and much better value than a lot of other Chinese takeaways in Southampton. The portions are generous, especially the fried rice and noodles, and everything I’ve tried has been really nice. I ordered directly from their website and the delivery was surprisingly quick as it wasn’t peak time. Delivery driver was friendly too. Haven’t had any problems ordering from here so far. The Mapo Tofu is definitely my favourite dish.”

  “Unable to leave a review as such as we ordered door via Uber Eats at 8.15pm and the time is currently 10.16pm and there is still no food. Tried to call no answer and message states unable to leave a message. Think a charge back for lack of goods my have to be actioned.”

  “Ordered a takeaway at 7.50pm, food came at 11.05pm - over 3 hours late. In that time i gave up waiting, had dinner and was midway doing the dishes. Food was good though but i would avoid this restaurant if i were you.”

  “total incompetence, ordered spare ribs in sweet and chilli sauce with Singapore fried rice. I received the ribs which were burnt and inedible and hardly any meat on the bone, and instead of rice I received rice noodles instead which were totally tasteless. a totally ruined meal and waste of money I will never order from this awful place again”

  “Unfortunately we chose to try this Chinese as a Friday ‘Treat’ but sadly our food was lacking in quality & size; more batter than chicken in the Chicken Balls & the chicken cube in the middle was dry & processed. Only 5 balls in a portion. The Chilly Beef & carrots were tasty but I opened the tin-portion container & the tub was only half full (it was more like a child’s portion). I contacted the Kings House Takeway Restaurant & asked to speak to whoever was in charge. I spoke to a male worker, I explained that I was not happy & instead of apologising & trying to resolve my issues he put the phone down. I called back & again the phone went dead/disconnected.”

  “One of the worst Chinese. The beef smelled off in the curry and the duck for the pancakes Wer inedible mostly bones and hard fat. The chicken curry was frozen and reheated as chicken wasn't mixed in correctly and looked boiled. Stay away if you don't want to waste money.”

  “ordered on just eats and took over an hour and a half to get here. my partner and i always share takeaways so we ordered a few sides and a main dish like we always do. the main dish was missing and instead we received a beef chow mein. i had to take out all the beef as this was literally the toughest thing ever i literally couldn’t get my teeth through it. the prawn toast was somehow soggy and dry at the same time and tasted like fish food. we also ordered 2 cans of drink with our food which we didn’t receive. the rest of the food was alright, nothing to write home about and over very disappointing. will not be spending our money here again.”
