“Standing Order Wetherspoon offers cheap drinks and meals and is very popular in general in the UK, but you have to take the rough with the smooth. It’s often packed and loud, especially when we visited and the football team was playing a home game. Having said that, an IPA at £2 and a double scotch for under £4 won me over.”
