About The Titanic Pub & Kitchen
The Titanic Pub & Kitchen sits on Simnel Street in Southampton, just behind the city walls in a historic setting. The pub fills out a compact food menu led by a bacon and cheese smash burger alongside fishcakes, fish sticks and a lemon curd tart. Dogs are welcome inside, and the team accommodated a group of seven without fuss. The format is walk-in throughout, with no booking required to grab a table.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the friendly, welcoming staff and the old-fashioned pub atmosphere, with Titanic memorabilia covering the walls. Beer is the main draw, with a good pint of Doom Bar, a very nice Guinness, and a boilermaker singled out, while one reviewer describes a terrific selection of beers and ciders. Food gets strong mentions too: a roast dinner in a giant Yorkshire pudding, a bacon and cheese smash burger, fishcakes, a lemon curd tart, and fish sticks that delighted one visitor's daughter. One group of seven was accommodated without trouble, and one couple held a wedding reception there and praised the buffet and the setup. Complaints are fewer. One reviewer notes no outside space and no real ales, another found the music a little loud for conversation, and another found it quiet on a weeknight. One organiser says a confirmed booking for ten was cancelled by email without a reason and got no reply to a follow-up. Another reviewer arrived at 10:30pm to find it closed, despite a posted 11:30 closing time.

“Was mine and my partners first time going. We had bacon and cheese smash burger, and fishcakes, absolutely delicious, then for dessert we both had a lemon curd tart and that was divine. Staff there was absolutely amazing and friendly, will definitely going back and highly recommend”

“Great place behind the City walls especially if you are a tourist. The service was so friendly and above and beyond for the uk. My daughter's face lit up as she was eating the fish sticks, not a normal menu item in the USA. Highly recommend.”
