Quick info
About Kashmiri Karahi
Kashmiri Karahi is a Pakistani restaurant on Bath Road in Slough, set in Salt Hill Park across two floors. The building has a large garden, and parking is free, which makes the site practical for families and larger parties arriving by car. The kitchen cooks Kashmiri dishes, with karahi at the centre of the menu in both chicken and lamb versions. A mixed grill brings lamb chops, chicken tikka and kebabs to the table, and butter chicken sits alongside it. The interior hall has been refurbished and modernised. For events and parties, the restaurant offers a buffet meal, so a group can be fed from one set menu.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints centre on slow, inattentive service. One diner described greasy popadoms, a reheated-tasting chicken karahi, undercooked lamb chops and cokes that were not cold, with staff on their phones. A takeaway customer waited far beyond the quoted time for two items in a nearly empty restaurant, being told repeatedly that the order was coming. One otherwise happy reviewer found service purely transactional, with no smiles or conversation.

“I went there and ordered just 2 items for a takeaway that could have take maximum 7-10 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty just few customers and staff was also free and still there and talking. I been advised to wait for 15 for my order I spent 30 minutes but order was still not there and then I had to enquire multiple times about my order they were keep saying your order is coming. So waisted my 35 minutes just to get 2 items and I said them I’ll never come back for future orders. I would suggest to avoid the restaurant if you value your time.”

“Had an amazing dinner with friends today, and we were genuinely surprised by the excellent service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The location is also perfect for families and kids. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Very nice staff working here, we felt welcomed and attended too. Food was quick and exceptionally delicious, especially the naan bread which was fresh, the rice which was fluffy, and the sweet flavours curry. Interior was also very clean and comfortable. Free parking, as well, we will definitely be coming back.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Kashmiri Karahi Restaurant. The food was fresh, full of authentic flavour, and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend Kashmiri Karahi Restaurant to anyone looking for delicious South Asian cuisine.”

“Honestly really disappointed tonight. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would Stopped here while waiting to pick family up from Heathrow and wish we had just gone somewhere else Service was slow from the start and the staff just seemed more interested in their phones than the customers Popadoms came out greasy after 10 mins and not crispy and after asking twice the chutneys had no flavour the chicken karahi tasted reheated with no spice or freshness, and the lamb chops were undercooked we ordered 2 cokes they was not cold asked for ice fell on deaf ears like everything else we asked for the waiter asked me what a pickle tray is when I ordered my popadoms What makes it worse is I’ve been here before when it’s been packed and the food was actually good tonight it wasn’t even busy and the standards were nowhere near what they used to be sorry it's a Waste of money if I’m honest better off eating in Southall somewhere or I would have been happy with a sandwich and crisps from a petrol station at least would have enjoyed sorry guys but honestly nearly 50 quid for this kind food no way guys you flopped not coming back again sorry”
