Customer Review Summary

Reviewers single out the authentic, traditional Italian cooking, with one describing a "made by nonna" flavour. Calamari fritti, normally dinner only, was prepared at lunchtime on request, and the panna cotta dessert of the day drew praise. Reviewers also mention cold bottled beers and hot food, plus friendly staff and a family welcome. One finds the flavours decent but not the best locally.

“Decent Italian, not the best locally, but pretty decent. Prices are fair, staff are friendly, just not the best Italian flavours”

“Little Florence has become one of our favourite restaurants, and we keep coming back for a reason. It’s a wonderful family-run place where you genuinely feel welcomed every time you walk through the door. Ben, the chef, cooks absolutely beautiful, authentic Italian food. His dishes are full of flavour, genuine and clearly made with real care. Sometimes, when you close your eyes while eating, you could honestly imagine being back in Italy. Luca and Ari are fantastic front of house — always friendly, attentive and welcoming. What means a lot to us personally is how kind and patient everyone is with our son Ethan. They always make him feel comfortable and special, which makes going there as a family such a lovely experience. There’s something very special about Little Florence: great food, a warm family atmosphere and people who genuinely care about their customers. It doesn’t feel like simply going out for dinner; it feels like being welcomed into an Italian family. We are always happy to return and would highly recommend Little Florence to anyone looking for genuine Italian food and wonderful hospitality. 🇮🇹❤️”

“We went there for lunch and discovered they have a different menu in the evening. We honestly did not expect to find such incredibly good Italian food with that real traditional “made by nonna” flavour. The food is truly authentic Italian cuisine, with a lovely Florentine style atmosphere and Italian waiters that make the whole experience feel even more genuine and welcoming. The calamari fritti were only on the dinner menu, but they kindly prepared them for us anyway at lunchtime, which was a really nice touch. Everything was so delicious that we ended up ordering two desserts. The panna cotta was the dessert of the day and it was absolutely lovely. They also have a very good selection of beers and wines. Highly recommended for families, couples, or even just meeting friends for a proper Italian meal. From now on, every time we are near Sidcup, this will definitely be our place for lunch or dinner!”
