Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for generous three-course meals, describing huge portions and food that tasted fresh and flavoursome. The chicken pasta is called rich, creamy and packed with flavour, and one reviewer passes along that friends rate the liver and bacon as a top pick. Desserts get named too, including the chocolate brownie sundae, pannacotta with raspberry and tiramisu. Several praise the welcoming service and say the quality held steady across repeat visits. Noise is the most repeated complaint, with one reviewer calling the room deafeningly loud at times, and a couple mention limited parking. The critical reviews are specific. One diner could not eat a pasta because the bacon smell was so strong, and found it overcooked and mushy. Another thought the roast lamb and fish cake on the Sunday set menu were more English than Italian, and a birthday mentioned by email and at booking went unacknowledged. Another describes a waiter arriving at the table with the amount and service charge already keyed in.

“We found this restaurant absolutely by chance, as were looking a place for dinner. To our surprise we were absolutely delighted with the quality of food, how great it tasted and beautifully served. We had some non alcoholic contrails which were really good. Service was welcoming and lovely. We did not had a reservation, despite it being busy we were kindly greeted. Absolute gem in Bexley. Highly recommending and will be back for sure. Thank you very much.”

“Been here before, over a year ago, and the quality has remained consistently high. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are welcoming, and the portions are huge so filling that they kept us satisfied all day, will definitely make this our regular restaurant”

“Been here many times (going again tomorrow). Never had a poor meal here, consistently great. Excellent menu choices for all palates (I don't like it myself but my friends say the liver and bacon is a top pick). Very welcoming and helpful service. Would have been 5 stars for atmosphere except sometimes it is deafeningly loud - no fault of the venue - I don't understand why people out for a meal feel the need to share their conversation with the entire restaurant. I wish there was more parking available at the venue or nearby.”

“I visited a few days ago. I had a reason to go to that area, so the rating wasn't bad, and my partner had visited before, so I went. Right in front of the restaurant, I took a seat by the window, looking at the old house that was over 400 years old. It's an Italian restaurant, and all the serving staff are Indian. The bacon smell in the pasta I ordered was so strong pig🐖 smelled that I couldn't eat it at all. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, and my partner said they liked the lamb pasta they ordered, but honestly, I don't think I'll visit again on purpose. The Italian music playing in the restaurant was calm and very nice. But asking what kind of drink we would like to have before even sitting down was quite absurd.”

“I had the best time at Ferrari’s Italian Restaurant. You can immediately tell this is an establishment driven by passion and a genuine love for great food and excellent service. There’s a warmth to the experience that makes it feel special from the moment you arrive. I ordered the chicken pasta, and it was absolutely outstanding. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavour. Proper comfort food done right. I genuinely can’t wait to be back.”
