  “My absolute favourite restaurant! I found this restaurant in my first year of university and haven’t stopped coming back. The food is absolutely delicious, the kimchi gyozas, the ramen, the bulgogi, the BBQ tables and my personal favourite is the marinated beef bibimbap. Me and my boyfriend come here all the time, we ate here on valentines day also and it was so lovely. The staff members are really kind and the service is super fast, really lovely atmosphere for some drinks and food. This is honestly some of the best Korean food I’ve eaten, great portions and really good pricing. Couldn’t recommend enough! 💕”

  “Shuyo was a great choice for our anniversary dinner. We really enjoyed the Korean BBQ; the marinated bulgogi was particularly flavorful, and cooking it right at our table made for a fun, interactive experience. The service was attentive without being intrusive, always there to help with the grill. We left feeling very satisfied and already planning our next visit.”

  “Always excellent, they are a favourite of ours. We love the vegetable or kimchee pancake, and the sweet chilli fried chicken but all the food is excellent and the staff are always very friendly. They also do excellent takeout”

  “Such an amazing and comforting Korean restaurant, food is even better than most places I’ve been to in Seoul. Waiters are always very kind, water is topped throughout and the dishes and KBBQ are to die for. 10/10”

  “We tried the Squid Japchae, Korean Chicken and chicken gyoza and all were fantastic! Would love to come back and try the BBQ, as everyone eating that looked like they were really enjoying it. Food envy over every dish here. Love.”

  “I’ve ordered the omelette rice for delivery from here before and it was really delicious. Today, I visited the restaurant with my family. Unfortunately, the hot pot was just average, the flavor was quite bland and I wouldn’t recommend it. However, all the other dishes we tried were great. The prices are a bit on the expensive side, and another downside is that there aren’t enough high chairs available. Our little one had to sit on Dad’s lap throughout the meal.”

  “Shuyo is a great Korean Barbeque. Lots of options, and a fun experience on the grill. The meat comes in good sized portions, with a lot of affordable options under a tenner. The experience itself is one thing, the food is another. I ordered some marinated beef slices, some beef kalbi sliced and some pork belly slices, which I vividly remember to all be under £10. They all didn't disappoint, with the marinated beef being chewy and flavourful, the marinated beef being juicy and yummy and the pork belly being rich and fatty. Definitely recommend coming here for a group lunch, as the prices are cheap for a good experience. PS. A minimum of 4 plates of meat are required for the grill.”

  “We came an hour or so before closing, what an amazing place! The food was just soooo good! We had wings to share and I had the Sizzling Squid! An amazing aroma and flavour! I will definitely be coming back to try out some more dishes 👏🏽 amazing service and very attentive staff!”

  “A welcoming, authentic Korean & Asian restaurant with BBQ and HotPot table dining experience available, located at New Era Square on the outskirts of Sheffield City Centre. Shuyo Restaurant has a vast menu with many meals to choose from and caters to vegetarians, vegans, and meat-eaters. Portions are generous, and the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great taste of Asian cuisine. Shuyo offered a delicious Christmas Menu for just £24.95pp, which was too good to miss! This was available until 23rd Dec, and with a vegetarian menu available also, it was a feast for Korean food lovers. What’s included? (Menus pictured above); Any beer or soft drink on arrival and a bowl of Kimchi to share A selection of all 3 Appetisers to share A main meal (7 choices) Including the Christmas Set Menu, we ordered other dishes. Here’s everything we enjoyed; Kimchi & selection of 3 Appetisers to share; wakame, prawn seaweed pancakes, chicken skewers Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce – we re-ordered this with udon noodles and as a stir fry rice dish, it was THAT good Seafood Kimchi Fried Rice – this was great, lots of prawn and squid Korean BBQ – Boneless prime beef short rib, marinated chicken thigh, courgette️ Apple Mango Jinro (13% liqueur️ like Schnapps) 👍 The food here is fresh and delicious, the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper especially was a hit with everyone. We enjoyed the spicy dishes as they gave genuine heat. We all loved trying the BBQ table for the first time, I only wish I’d had more confidence, but there’s always a next time! The staff were helpful and gave us everything we needed and some advice on what would be good to order. The staff were also lovely and accommodating and the food kept on coming and was simply delicious. As well as enjoying the main dishes, I especially enjoyed the Prawn Seaweed Pancakes.
