  “Rang up to order a few months ago and I couldn’t fully understand the owner when placing an order, he then proceeded to shout at me down the phone. Family member rang up yesterday and he did the same. Be wary as the owner is very aggressive and not a nice guy.”

  “Absolutely fantastic food and a brilliant atmosphere every time. Kev and the team always make everyone feel welcome and create such a friendly environment. The food is consistently delicious, full of flavour. You can really tell they care about quality and customer experience. Easily one of our go-to places and highly recommended.”

  “As a born Jamaican who has lived in the uk for the last 15 yrs the food was a big disappointment number 1 found a hair in my food number 2 rice didn’t taste washed it was starchy mutton was tuff and chewy food took 2 hrs to come been to other Caribbean shops and will def stick to it. Caribbean spice u are over rated and since I ate from u a few ppl said the same thing”

  “Caribbean Spice is a Londoner Rd OG classic! From the early 2000s I’ve loved this place😍👌🏾. Great value and portions for the price. My favourite is mutton and fried chicken. Love that the meals come with steamed veg. Everything is cooked on point. The chef has got the best personality and is very welcoming! The only thing is I hope they start doing jerk chicken on a jerk pan soon. That’d be the best. Delivery took a little bit long but they’re always busy and you can see why. Was worth the wait”

  “Honestly amazing !! Got jerk chicken it was the best I walked home 20 min and it was still warm the chicken was so flavoured and seasoned Quick service and a really nice place and workers hands down one of the best places on London road and totally worth the price 🙌🏼🙌🏼”

  “A must try for anyone looking to try Caribbean food for the first time or seasoned aficionados. Exceptional patties for a steal of a price. The chicken patty was huge for 1.50 and did not skimp on filling. I also ordered the jerk chicken which came with rice and peas, plantain and dumplings. Once again a good portion for the price and some flavourful food. The chicken was packed with spices and the dumplings were a standout. What is arguably better than the food here is the brilliant service. The guy at the counter is full of positivity and constantly smiling and the food is ready in no time.”

  “Food was banging - we had the jerk wings & curried goat, both with rice & peas, veg, plantain and dumplings. What’s better than the food is the service - quite possibly the friendliest, happiest man on the planet. The only minor thing I can say is there’s no toilet facilities or somewhere to wash your hands, which could help after eating that amazing food. Will definitely be going again.”

  “Went here for a birthday meal, the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious with reasonable sizes, the only downside was the fact they ran out of a lot of the dishes we wanted to order.”

  “This was a fun little place. I didn't get to meet the chef personally, but I certainly heard him! The wait time was a tad long but definitely worth it. An array of folk kept turning in hoping there was any food left, that's always a good sign. I had the mutton curry and that was a wholly nourishing experience! Was a nice surprise when it came out with all the trimmings. With the music and people filtering in and out I felt like I was in someone's kitchen - brilliant.”
