The soup is very tasty serviced by polite and friendly staff. For anyone wanting great food and value for money this is the place to go”

  “We always collect food from here in the week at lunch time. We normally order the meal deal and honestly it feeds 5+ people on our lunch break at work. Fantastic food all the meat is cooked well and full of flavor. All our office loves this place”

  “Amazing shwarma. Best most reasonable priced kebab I've ever had! The the wraps are cooked to order the salad Is fresh and the home made sauces are amazing top that all off with the chicken or lamb shwarma or both with a side of fries and a can for £6 Unbeatable taste for unbeatable value me and a few mates regularly make excuses to travel to Sheffield just so we can drop in here.”

  “I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from Charcoal Grill. I found an actual nail inside my wrap, completely unacceptable and dangerous. This is a serious food safety issue that could have caused real harm. I expected much better standards, and after this experience, I won’t be ordering again. Please see attached evidence”

  “I ordered a chicken tikka wrap meal at only £6 and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The bread was fresh, salad crunchy and sauces spot on. The two things that lower the score for me is the heat of the venue and lack of cushioning on the wooden chairs (yes I’m getting old)! It was super hot inside but then on the plus side….the open kitchen allowed you to watch your food being cooked….a small price to pay! The staff were polite and helpful and the venue was clean and tidy. Alhamdulillah”

  “My 1st visit with my son and it was a great experience..food was amazing and you got alot of it and a free starter of a bowl of soup .Ended up taking the meal home in a doggy bag ..Well worth a visit ..xx cost ..£14.00 per person ..for what we had ...and that includes a drink each ..if you don't like drinking out of a can of pop like me then bring your own ..”

  “I recently visited Darnall Charcoal Grill and had a really good experience overall. If you’re into smoky, flavour-packed grilled meats, this place hits the spot! The chicken shawarma and lamb chops were absolutely delicious — juicy, well-marinated, and cooked to perfection. The naan bread was soft and fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. You definitely get value for your money here. The staff were polite and helpful, even during a busy evening. The service was fairly quick considering the number of orders going out, especially for takeaway. The seating area is decent, but it’s more of a casual spot than a dine-in restaurant. If you’re looking for a place to chill with friends over some hot grilled food, it works well. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is that parking around the area can be a bit tricky, and the dine-in atmosphere could use a bit of a refresh. But for the food alone, it’s definitely worth a visit. Would recommend it for: late-night cravings, casual meals, and meat lovers!”

  “Just ordered from this place on uber eats, I got a mixed grill with rice. Super fresh and generous portion, enough for me to make 2 meals our of it! I dont usually give rating to takeaway but this was really great,and I love the option to customise the salad side!”

  “No wonder why they got good reviews. Food is tasty and fantastic. It feels good when you eat a real kebab. Staff's are so kind and smiling. it's a little busy, which is OK. I would be surprised if it wasn't (because of amazing food). I even asked for extra bread, and they kindly brought me one.”
