  “It was our first time here, so we didn’t know what to order and asked a few questions. Unfortunately, the staff member was not patient and kept repeating “chicken tikka” instead of explaining the options properly. After we decided to order, he went back laughing with other staff while they were looking at us, which made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. Because of the way we were treated, we cancelled our order and left. Good food is important, but respectful customer service matters just as much.”

  “We normally have Tasty Plaice delivered but this time we went there in person. The customer service was great and very helpful, we ordered 2 chip butties with 2 cans of Fanta. Chip butties are not on the menu but staff member was happy to create this. Delicious food, will defintly go again.”

  “we all Had a kebab and they were awful. Not sure how much meat was in there but not much. Tasted like very low quality. Very expensive too.”

  “Really disappointed. Prices advertised on the board are different to those charged at the till. The kids meal includes a drink, either fizzy adult pop or those cheap high E number fluorescent drinks in plastic cartons not suitable for toddlers. Kids meal was over £8 and included just three chicken nuggets. Staff are completely indifferent.”

  “Well tonight the atmosphere were very dull. I think someone swapped my food with there's and I got yesterdays lot and they must of got the fresh lot because my food is always PERFECT and meets all my high standard requirements but tonight I Almost shed a tear, I will not give up just yet because we all deserve second chances. Also if you are taking on any food standard roles I'm always happy to learn from the comfort of my own home. Thanks.”

  “Hi all went there for a portion of chips price £3.49 should have been but the bill came to £5.49 due to the fact the guy serving a large fella laughing asked me if wanted any sauces I said yes and he charged me 50p per sauce Inc tomato sauce from a squizy bottles never seen this before in England will post pictures to view the portions are tiny. fish has unknown quality not cod not haddock either please pay them a visit it's mainly passing trade they relying on to rip off £12-13 just for fish and chips ! Total rip off the beans are £1.69 for super small tub see below pictures! From a large bucket they pouring in front of customers.”

  “First and foremost THANK YOU for being one of the very view places within the food court to serve Gluten free food. We were served by Charlie, he was extremely knowledgeable, offered us all the combinations available. Hubby had the jacket potato with chicken tikka with a side of cheese. He said the potato was well cooked through, light and fluffy. The tikka was very moist and flavourful. Overall it was such a relief to find somewhere to eat as a family. Would highly recommend it to others and will definitely be returning customers. Again, thank you Charlie you're a credit to your work place.”

  “A visit to meadowhall wouldn't be complete without eating in the oasis dining court and our pick is always Tasty Plaice who by far does the best chips in the country in my opinion. It's great value, cooked fresh and has all the usual chip shop options including kebab meat. I went for a battered sausage, chips, gravy and peas with a helping of batter bits (scraps) and the portion size is enough to fill, add a fizzy drink and it's a complete meal for under a tenner (at time of writing). Staff are friendly and it's we'll run, the queue's are kept to a minimum and service is near instant. Cannot fault and will be back again for sure”

  “Cracking fish bites chips and curry / peas. £7.99 each. Lovely hot and tasty. Very busy today in the Oasis. Queue for food but service carried out with a smile.”
