About Brook Coffee Rooms
On Brooklands Ave, Brook Coffee Rooms is a cafe and coffee store open daily through the daytime. Orders are taken at the table rather than at a counter, and the menu keeps breakfast simple, built mainly around sandwiches, with a bacon sandwich a recurring choice. Alongside the Americano, the counter offers cakes and pastries such as an almond croissant or an apple and strawberry crumble. There's no wifi, so the room suits a straightforward coffee stop rather than working. Outdoor seating gives another option for eating outside, and the space is step-free at the entrance for visitors with mobility needs. Dogs are welcome inside, and high chairs are available for families with young children. Walk-ins are the norm, no booking is needed, though the room can get busy at times.

Customer Review Summary
The complaints are specific. One reviewer found an Americano lacking real taste and reports staff patting a dog and not washing their hands afterward. Another found a slow sandwich despite plenty of staff chatting among themselves, plus no wifi and only sandwiches at breakfast. A third mentions a loud staff member talking to colleagues, and one notes it felt over crowded.

“A good experience all round, the food was scrum-diddly-umptious and not a speck of excretion in the lavatories. I treated my self to a good ol' bacon o'sarnie which was porkalicious! It had me throbbing for seconds. I have already set the date for my next embarkment to this delightful establishment. The one problem I had was the service. The atmosphere was quite nice so I had peace to read my femenist literature. Overall a delightful experience that warmed me from tip to toe and will bring my Dragon City appreciation society along next time. One change to the menu I would request is a labubu matcha drink”

“Lovely coffee and not too busy as children still on holiday. Ordered what looked like almond croissant but was much heavier pastry. Tasty though. Unfortunately loud male member of staff who had no volume control when talking to colleaguesbehindthe coutent !”

“Nice coffee shop reasonably priced with friendly staff. A little over crowded but it shows it’s popular. Only had coffee so can’t comment on food hence the 4 star rating and not a 5.”

“Called into Brook Coffee Rooms earlier for an Americano and a bacon sandwich – honestly, spot on. Coffee was really good and the bacon sandwich was proper tasty. Service was great as well – really friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere in there too, just a nice chilled place to sit and enjoy it. Great vibe all round. Will definitely be back 👌”
