Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the friendly, efficient staff at this park cafe, along with the food and coffee. Diners praise the vegan laksa noodle soup, beef brisket cobs, jacket potatoes with salad and coleslaw, and a tasty vegan sausage roll. The coffee is called quite good and better than most park cafes. Ice cream and the children's menu draw families, who find it convenient for the nearby playground and like the outdoor seating, though one reviewer calls the inside seating limited. The recurring complaints are that it gets very busy and feels expensive in places, with a small tub of ice cream given as an example. One reviewer says the building and outdoor seating deserve an upgrade. Another found the milkshakes terrible and borderline undrinkable, saying they looked nice but tasted awful. Reviewers also describe a staff member helping a young lad with heat stroke, and a barista making a table laugh with a joke about gingerbread men in a jacuzzi.

“Just sat in here for a short while (tasty vegan sausage roll) and saw how friendly and generous one of the staff members is, the younger guy with a beard. Helped a young lad with heat stroke. Was patient with a confused older lady and kind to a young dad. Brought a smile to my face :)”

“lovely location, nice staff, terrible milkshakes border line undrinkable. unfortunately we were to far away from the venue to return them. look nice - taste awful.”

“The food and the coffee is of a very good standard. Staff are friendly and efficient. This place gets very busy and is quite expensive eg £4 for a small tub of ice cream, though it is nice quality. The building and the outdoor seating deserves a bit of upgrading especially given how much this place must be turning over.”

“Lovely, friendly staff. We enjoyed our Gingerbread Latte's and sweet treats! Couldn't stop laughing at the gingerbread men looking like they were in a jacuzzi comment made by the barista!”

“They have a decent range of good sandwiches and hot drinks. Both outdoor and indoor seating are available, and a public restroom is nearby. Great place after the Saturday Park Run or a walk in the Endcliffe park”
