  “Yorkshire pudding wrap with vegetarian sausage (the "sausage" was potato n pea croquets, not quorn sausage as you would expect, especially when it was served with yet more potato and peas on the side). The gravy provided was strangely not vegetarian apparently (luckily I checked) and I was told I could ask for the veggie gravy!. Arrived cold/frozen in the centre, so gave it back to be re cooked, everyone else had finished their meals when it was brought back but there was no offer of compensation and no sight of the chef who should have at least apologised. I think more care should be taken in description (potato croquet not sausage) and for a vegetarian meal there should be a gravy warning or the choice offered on ordering.”

  “Called in for some food whilst in the area, Staff were very welcoming, nice atmosphere with plenty of space to sit. We had a yorkshire pudding wrap and a sirloin steak. The yorkshire pudding was tasty and homemade with beef wrapped inside (other meat options available) the gravy was also very nice. The steak with onion rings, chips and peas was also very nice. Steak was very tasty. Chocolate fudge cake with ice cream was also delicious! Price was also very reasonable for what we had. Over all 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend.”

  “Popped in to the Sheffield Arms after a walk to a very warm welcome. Good selection of beers and although we didn’t stop to eat the food looked and smelt fantastic. The inside and outside spaces were clean and well maintained. We would definitely return when in the area.”

  “I do work here part time, but we dont get out much and this is an honest review as a customer. We braved a rare outing for tea and were made to feel very welcome whilst with a lively 2 year old and a young dog on a busy weekend afternoon. Managed to have a drink and some food with a little help from staff 😅 The beer garden had a good vibe and there is a good amount of space with lots of tables and umberallas for shade. My partner said the homemade burger was 'banging' and the rest of us enjoyed a pizza and pint deal, yum! Thank you!”

  “Best Carvery in Lincolnshire. Great selection of meat (which you can go back for more meat as many times as you like) plus pies and cobbler to die for. Highly recommend.”

  “Had a very nice and tasty meal, the carvery had a very good selection, fresh and hot, The staff are very polite and helpful too. A real nice find, worth every penny and will definitely be calling again. Thank you x”

  “We went for a meal, the food was cooked to permission, there was a lot of people there for a village pub. Service was a little slow and prices are not for everyone but overall if you're happy to pay for mid range this is the perfect place. We would definitely return”
